Mayone Hotel is within walking distance to Myeongdong subway station which is very convenient. The hotel is also right amongst the shopping area and food scene. The night market and street food stalls is within a few steps.

This hotel was okay except my room was basically a closet. It did not have room for me to open my suitcase other than on top of my bed which was very inconvenient. It also had a rotting banana in the fridge and smelled very strongly of food. It’s right in the middle of things though and the staff in the little cafe on the bottom floor was very nice.

Good place to stay

Very good location near the night market and street food. Walking distance from the subway and many historical sites. Many restaurants nearby. Room was a bit warm due to central heating so we opened the window overnight. Comfortable and clean beds.

Perfect location, the streets were buzzing with energy. Train and bus within minutes walk. Loved the night market. We got delayed in arriving close to midnight and was still greeted with a smile. Would recommend for location and a comfortable place to stay.

A very good location considering it's tuck in Myeongdong yet away from the main noisy streets. A decent hotel with reasonable luggage space. However, the toilet is disappointing and feels like it could break anytime.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service from reception to housekeeping. Everyday changing the towels, every 4 days changing bed sheets. So close to go to places in Seoul. I would really come back to this hotel. Kudos to the owner and staff. Exceptional! Thank you very much!

Room very small. Shower not very powerful. Dark returning to hotel late at night and end of road used as dumping ground. Lift to all floors. Restaurant in basement and cafe with a museum vibe next to reception. Fridge in room. Bed very firm which i liked but not suitable to all

Right in the center of myeongdong which was fantastic but also a little loud at night but it’s such a cool area it was worth a little bit of lost sleep. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but the room was TINY, really really small but we made do. It did have a mini fridge, kettle and tea and coffee available so that was great.

May One hotel in Myeondong, Seoul, Korea.

Right in the Myeondong area, very good location. Very close to numerous shops, stores, restaurants. There was Myeongdong festival and so many street food vendors during our stay. Not sure if it was only for festival or a permanent feature. We stayed in 2 bed for 4 people room for 2 nights. Room is a little small but nice. I did not need front desk help during stay so I did not know how they handle if any help needed. Front desk is not manned 24/7. Nobody there in the early morning. All in all we are very happy with our stay.

Small room however budget friendly

Room is tiny. Barely enough space for 2 luggages. Lights in hallways were dim and some were flickering. Restroom is very small. Shower head is attached to the sink and barely any room to move around.housekeeping staff were friendly. Lobby area is modern with large LED screens but a different story once you enter the elevator to go up to the room. If you’re on a budget, the room will do.

We stayed in a twin room however the restroom is rather small. Shower is connected to sink. Complimentary tooth brushes were so stiff. You can use them to scrub dishes. Housekeeping came by everyday to change out towels and take out trash. We were hoping they would change the bed sheets. But never did. Overall, the location is literally steps to all the shopping and food. Transportation to and from is impossible. You will have to walk out to the nearest exit to call a taxi/uber.

We had the family room that is in the middle of the floor. The two tiny windows open up to the hallway, so it gets stuffy. When turning on the AC to 20C, it was blowing hot air for some reason making it worse. Changing the settings and modes didn’t help. Other than this, this place is great. Great location, super friendly staff, and quiet at night as it’s a side street off the shopping street.
