Perfect for a solo traveler and for people who are on a budget but want somewhere nicer/more private than a hostel. Easy access for great food places and lots of Starbucks in the area for coffee lovers. Line 4 station just down the road for direct trains to anywhere in Seoul. Great place.

As a first-time visitor to South Korea, my stay as a solo traveler was very comfortable. The amenities were simple, but it has everything you need, especially in this price range. I appreciated how convenient the hostel was, in terms of access to public transportation, yet also relatively quiet.

I was impressed with the cleanliness. It was like a dormitory which was a nice eexperience. The staff were always helpful and polite. It was really nuce that you could make your own meals on your own time. Rice eggs cereal toast and noodles.

The rooms were small and compact but had everything a solo traveler needs. The kitchen area was well equipped, everything was clean and staff was kind. Definitely great value for solo traveling, would stay here again. Location also excellent, close to the action and plenty of restaurants, and a bus line comes directly from the airport.

The management and staff at Snowflower Guesthouse are extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. Being polite and courteous goes a long way, and the friendly atmosphere here really reflects that. You may need to use a translator to communicate at times, but personally, I felt that this added to the authenticity of staying at a Korean guesthouse. It felt like a genuine experience rather than a typical mainstream hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean experience, I would highly recommend Snowflower Guesthouse. It is extremely clean and very reasonably priced, especially considering its central location in Seoul. The rooms are small, but you have everything you need. The location also makes it a great base if you want to go sightseeing or simply need somewhere comfortable to work. One thing to keep in mind is that this isn’t a lively, mainstream hotel environment. If you’re looking for a busy atmosphere with lots of hotel facilities and activity, I’d suggest looking at a larger hotel. But if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, affordable, clean, and with a genuinely Korean environment, Snowflower Guesthouse is a fantastic choice. I’ve really enjoyed my stay and hope to return again if possible. 🇰🇷

This spot is insanely good, lots of nice food in the area, 5 minute walk to the station, your room is exactly what you pay for and they have all day food and drinks included. The staff are very nice too. I enjoyed my stay

The staff was very welcoming & gave a tour of every necessities. Room was compact & still very comfy. A few minutes walk from ‘Hyehwa’ Station, few stations away from Seoul Station too. There’s McDonald’s, Daiso & my favourite Mos Burger nearby!

It's reasonable and acceptable with the price. The owner was helpful, and she let me check in early. You need to bring your big towel, and sometimes you can hear your neighbors because the place is small. The area is nice and quiet but far from the central downtown(around 30 minutes). Overall, the guesthouse is great.

It is a budget place to stay. The rooms are really tiny with toilets down the hall (they are kept very clean). sink and shower in the room. AC is good and there is a little de-humidifier as well. There is free food and beverages available all day that you fix yourself and clean your own dishes. It is a 10 min walk to subway line #4. There are also buses closer.

My second stay as good as the first

This is my second stay at the Snowflower Guesthouse in 1 year, and I have enjoyed both stays. Small but very clean rooms, great common space with complimentary coffee, drinks, eggs, lunch meat, bread, fruit, ice cream and ramen. Blocks from key bus lines 150, 601, airport bus and subway line 4. Some people may not like the shared toilets but doesn't bother me as they are very clean. Nice to have a 24 hour supermarket on the first floor and tons of restaurants in the area. Near the famous Sungkyunkwan University.

Snowflower Guesthouse was an excellent place for my 10-day stay in Seoul. The central bus station that I took pretty much every day was not too far away from the property. There are plenty of shops (coffee, convenience stores, general market) around the area that were reachable within a 5-minute walking distance. As for the place itself, the people who worked there were very kind and accommodating. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. The free breakfast provided and the coffee machine were honestly such a good part of the guest house since it was easily accessible any time of the day. The outside terrace was very nice to enjoy breakfast items and coffee since it was covered and had plenty of seats.

I loved the kitchen on the terrace. I’m glad I was only there 2 nights the bed was uncomfortable , small, and gave me a sore back. One morning both toilets were locked, no one answered when I knocked and called out, no one around. I ended up using the men’s one toilet that was open. The other 2 were locked also.
