"My husband and I were touring around Portugal for 9 days so we had many hotel bookings. When we got to Coimbra I kept in mind some of the less than desirable reviews on this hotel. Well being from the NY/NJ area we are use to being inconvenienced. There was nothing inconvenient about this hotel. You can pull up in front, unload and there is a gratis parking garage right across the street. The hotel has been renovated and we upgraded our room to a room with a balcony for 35 euro.
