"Ideally situated on the main street in Setubal, close to the attractions like the Fish Market, the baixa (city centre) and the Troia Ferry terminal (and next door to McDonalds if you don't want to try the local food!). Lovely views from the 5th floor breakfast room (with a generous buffet) and comfy clean rooms."

"Very clean , great rain shower and comfortable bed and 4 pillows of good quality for my taste , foam moldable.. adustable and fiber fill. Everything was excellent and the breakfast included was very good, eggs toast , beans , chorizo, fresh fruit and whole wheat/ white breads. Cereal or muesli with Hot milk (in the coffee maker). Honey for tea or coffee. Central location ... near Mcdonalds if you like their food (...not me) "

"We had an excellent stay here a few years ago so didn’t hesitate to book the Rio Art Hotel on our next stay. We were traveling for my birthday and they went out of their way to make me feel special. This was especially heartwarming as our luggage was missing and we were having to deal with getting the necessities. The front desk is always providing a warm greeting, useful recommendations, and asking if there is anything they can do to make the stay even better. The rooms are larger than most ‘European’ rooms, very clean, plenty of towels, and has Portuguese charm. We look forward to our next visit. "

"This house was it said to be and the owners excellent at delivering a 5 star experience in their home. The beds and bedding are excellent. The kitchen has all you need. The views are breath taking. The tennis court well prepared and we held a family tennis tournament. We felt we were in a time capsule and experiencing someone's family home. The views breath taking. We hired Ana's cooks to have a traditional meal prepared and it was delicious. You have a choice of options and they accommodated a dietary restriction with ease. Plan to pay the cooks for: the shopping time, preparation time away from the house as well as the time at the house. The wifi was out due to a cable being severed up the road. The owner, on a Sunday, investigated and did all they could to assist. These things happen. We couldn't have asked for more from them and their home. We'll be so pleased to return next year. We hope to celebrate our wedding anniversary there with our family!"
