"Staff was super friendly and helpful. They would go around the rooms in the evening with chocolates for their guests. Love Troia, it’s one of my favourite places in the world. But the accommodations didn’t live up to the 5 star experience expected."

"We had a wonderful stay, the suite was spacious and beautiful. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were stunning. The restaurant was great too, 5 stars all round 😃 one suggestion for QDC, it would be great to have a more casual/snack bar option for lunches or dinners, to give an extra option"

"Very relaxing , quiet and zen hotel. Room was beautiful and food was great everywhere including the breakfast buffet. I think the best part of the hotel is the beach access (sun beds included in the price). The only thing is staff could provide higher quality service for the price - they provided conflicting information about the resort facilities at points and didn’t bend over backward to offer transportation to restaurants/spa across the highway; and you have to specifically request them to pick you up at your villa otherwise you have to walk 5-10 minutes to the front lobby to catch the shuttle. We also asked them to book a restaurant for us and they said they were working on it and just never gave us a call back. Also note that you must make restaurant reservations in advance of your stay. There are 2 different hotel locations so the restaurants and rooms/spa are spread out between the two and you need to take the shuttle to get across the highway to the other location."

"Upon arrival the reception staff were very helpful, supported us with where to park which is a chargeable car park nearby. The room was not ready as we arrived early, we were expecting a call to confirm when it was ready, that didn’t come, and we eventually went to check back at reception at 5 and managed to get into our room at this time. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Great room facilities. The downside was the pool area and changing rooms both inside and out, these are not to 5* standard, there is lots of damage, non locking doors, damage to pool tiles and the pool could be cleaner. The beach near by was very nice, the one to the left of the boardwalk is nicer than they closer to the main moana restaurant, white sand, clear water, although many jellyfish so something to be careful of. Great grocery store across the roof from hotel and some lovely little shops to wander around, plus the Troia festival was on which was a lovely vibe."
