"Berta’s Cottage is an incredibly special place. The views are stunning, and waking up to the sun rising over the mountains and a lush green landscape is the perfect start to each day. The yard is huge, and securely fenced all the way around. You can open the gates on either side of the house that divide the front and back yards so it’s a big loop for your dog to do zoomies! And there are cows right next door!!I took my elderly mother, and there were only a few steps (with a handrail) up to the front deck at the entrance to the house. Rosemary had kindly answered my questions before booking so I knew both my Mum and my dog were safe.The location is perfect. The cottage is in a very quiet street surrounded by farmland, but it’s just a few minutes drive to the main street in Berry.It’s so incredibly peaceful at Berta’s, and we had the most relaxing holiday. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. "
