Didn’t like all the cameras. Felt like we had no privacy.
Private cabin, very clean, and very homey! It’s really a beautiful spot! Perfect size for 2 couples with kids. Took off 1 star because I wasn’t a fan of the beds. Queen bed was hard per our guests and king bed super soft but the fitted sheet kept coming off at night! Needs deep pocket sheets. The setup downstairs is absolutely adorable!
Overall a nice place to stay, good view and clean. The master bedroom mattress was terrible I place pillow between mattress and box springs to get a little bit more comfort
The cabin was great. Lots of beds and games and movies. The fireplace ran out of gas the first day . The hot tub filter was coming apart and not filtering the water. The hot tub needed chlorine tablets . The water leaves a bitter taste in your mouth .
Perfect cabin for a quick stay with our daughter and her friend. Beautiful views. It does have a very steep incline up to the cabin but we made it with no problem! So many movies and games at the property! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Cabin
Loved the cabin. Short drive to everything we needed. Nice relaxing Christmas trip.
Such fun memories shared with our fur child!! The cabin is beautiful, plenty of yard for our big guy to run around, but prepare for the driveway!! Definitely need the right vehicle to get up it!!

Excellent. Cabin was clean. Everything you needed was there.
Very nice. Only thing I would change is the driveway. Very steep and curvy.
Please do not book this property if you have a sedan, I really think you could bottom out on the driveway. I loved this property, we had a wonderful time. HUGE dvd collection which was fun to pick though. I will be looking to book again next year, we wanted mountain views and to also be about 10 minutes from 321.

Cabin is nice. The road to the cabin is a nightmare. The driveway is too steep and winding.
The driveway is awful. Today that a 4 wheel drive is recommended is an understatement. The cabin was really nice. A little dark though. Could use more/better lighting. Over all it was a good stay but because of the steep and winding driveway we will. Ot stay here again.
The driveway is definitely super scary, I would not suggest going up and down it in the night time. Or even the road to get to it. The cabin is awesome. The drive up the mountain was horrible
My husband and I go to Tennessee 3 to 6 times a year. We took our friends This time and it was their very first time in TN. This has been our favorite cabin ever! There's so much to do, close to town, and very very comfy! The furniture was so comfortable. We had a blast! We even were lucky enough to see the baby black bear 2 days straight. The fire pit was wonderful. There was plenty of towels, was clothes, toilet tissue, and soap. The kitchen had so much stuff to use and it was an overall amazing time. Thank you for having us we plan on coming back next year to this exact cabin. It was literally home away from home.
We enjoyed our stay in this log home. It was perfect for the 3 of us. The driveway is steep, but it's paved. We didn't have any problems getting up the driveway in October. The only thing I can note is that the master bed is firm. Many enjoy a firm mattress, but it was a bit much for me. I do realize this is a matter of personal taste though.

Amazing views - all the comforts of home - scary driveway !!
Cabin and hot tub with mountain views and all of the necessities was perfect ! Master bed was loud but didn't effect us negatively. Definitely a 5 star, my only complaint is - the driveway up .... it was steep, steep steep and winding, very scary, and with snow it would have been nearly impossible with my AWD Traverse. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others, it was perfect for 6, the only thing I warn is be prepared for the driveway in, it's long And you must go fast to make it, I'm glad my husband drove as I would have had to request a different location. Thank you for the great stay and all of the memories with our loved ones ! We didn't need to pack any linens or cookware for indoor or outdoor - but I would recommend some dish soap and hand soap.

Questionable
First thing walking in was a cupboard door hanging off the hinge...walked in master bedroom and in the corner of the room was a huge dust ball , so that showed me how much cleaning is done..Not enough toilet paper so had to go buy some...water smelled when running .
The bathroom rugs obviously weren't washed for awhile...You pay a cleaning fee for what reason? The game machine was broken..
Not worth the money...I think 1st impression should be a clean place!! Master bed has a sag in it ! Not comfortable.
Very disappointed!

Nice location but uncomfortable
The location of this property is awesome! Sitting on top of a hill with a nice view to the east. Getting to the top of the hill is a bit of a challenge. There is a 16degree slope (verified with the inclinometer in my truck.) I put the truck in 4wd low and crept up and down the driveway. We didn’t venture out after dark for fear we would drive off the side of the mountain. The driveway has two very sharp 90 degree turns one RH and 1 LH. Do not attempt to stay here unless you have a 4wd with good ground clearance. I mentioned this to the property manager and was told “ yeah, just gas it and go”. The house itself could use some updating, there is not much natural light in the main areas and the lighting is really lacking. The king size bed would have been nice but it really needs new mattresses and box springs. It was more like sleeping in a hammock than a bed. The downstairs area has a nice set up with movies, foozeball table and paceman arcade style video game. They also have horseshoe pits and corn hole boards (we tried the cornhole game but the bags had holes in them and the corn in the bags was falling out so we put that away. We have stayed in many AirBB and I must say this was on the lower end of the scale compared to others we have stayed in.
The scenery especially in the back patio was beautiful. Driving up on the driveway was very scary. The pavement of the driveway needs to be redone. My car got stuck a few times. I noticed other cabins’ driveway was smooth and wider. There are cameras in the front and back patio. I didn’t like the cameras there because of the lack of privacy. How were we going to enjoy the whirlpool in the back patio when we are being recorded? Enjoying just the front patio was uncomfortable cause of the cameras. It’s not for security cause of where it’s pointing. I feel it was more to watch the people who are staying there. The plumbing was very loud. When any of the sinks, showers, and toilets was used, it was heard throughout the house. The shower for the master bedroom was very small. If you’re a heavy person, good luck with that. You can use the other shower or the tub in the lower level. To get to the lower level, there’s a spiral staircase or go outside and use the side door that leads to the lower level. If you’re a heavy person, the staircase will be too tight and if your kids are in the lower level, it will be hard to check on them. Who wants to go to the side door in the dark to check on the kids? The cabin had dishwashing liquid, yet no sponge. There was no laundry detergent, yet the cabin had a washer and dryer. I found it ridiculous not supplying these things, I paid a lot for this cabin. The counter stools were too high. Be aware for your pet, wood missing in the back patio.

Not the best cabin unfortunately
My husband and I take our family a couple times a year to the mountains and we have stayed at many properties around pigeon forge/Gatlinburg area. Unfortunately, this cabin by far was not one that we would ever return too. Besides the awful and treacherous drive to get up to the cabin, the cleanliness of this property leaves a lot of room for improvements. Although the views from the back deck are absolutely stunning and that was truly the only highlight of the stay, however the odor emitting from the refrigerator/freezer both was so over powering it took days after leaving this place to get that odor out of all our things, and literally couldn’t even open the fridge or freezer for 2 secs w/o filling up the entire cabin with the most sour and disgusting odors. Bleach is always a good thing just FYI. Then moving to the beds- had to strip down all of them immediately to remove the nasty linens that had fresh stains from god knows what and hair on them. Not the most welcoming feeling when knowing we have to sleep in those beds. None of the TV’s worked as they were supposed to the entire time we were there. That really isn’t a big deal for myself I could care less about TV on vacation however my son and hubby were not happy about that at night time when trying to sleep and wanted something to “go to sleep too”. Honestly, there were many more things that kept this from being anything but a “serenity ridge” but if you want a place where NO phones will be a bother than this is the place for you- as you will have NO service or WiFi to use while staying here. Again that was not a big deal to us we didn’t care about that but is something most would want to know. I will say that the ladies at front desk from Fireside Chalets were super nice and polite and respectful and is not there fault for any of these issues and I thank them for being so friendly and responsive however the fact that we paid so much money to stay and with all the issues we had and not once was any type of compensation offered to make up for these issues kind of made us feel not validated nor appreciated. We wouldn’t stay here again of course but would consider using this app again as we have used it before and had better experiences before. Thanks and god bless!
