Tough trip

We have used Vrbo for over a decade for all of our vacations. This was the first time we had an issue and experienced legit problems. The biggest issue was the air conditioning unit in the 3rd floor area was broke on day 1. The upstairs where we were trying to sleep was over 90 degrees. No windows could be opened. It was suffocating. Since the house has so many windows it made it into a ‘greenhouse’ effect that would worsened as the day went on.. We didn’t get help for two days.There is no ‘homeowner’ to work with. It’s a property manager that took her time on providing any help. There is a number for Vacasa too that was a outside customer service agency. They would answer and ‘send help’ that would arrive HOURS later. The first night, someone came out to the house at 11pm from maintenance. And then even later than that when they came out the next day when the ceiling from the 3rd floor was leaking water down through the kitchen on top of the air conditioning still not working. The pull out bed in the living room was broken. We had tried to lay on that the first night when the air was so thick and suffocating in the bedroom….but that was not possible either. Lastly, the drive up to the house was intense. Doable. But very tight for our Suburban. Unfortunately, a few of us experience motion sickness so felt sick after winding up and down the hill on our daily 10 minute trek up and down it. As far as visiting Pigeon Forge, I recommend that. Just not this rental.

Great cabin with great view

Spacious, gorgeous cabin with a great view. Cabin was big enough for two families of 4. Cleaning needs a little work, not horrible just need to work on fine details.

Not worth the price

Let me first start by saying this is my 6th time visiting the Smoky Mountains and we try a different cabin everytime have always been pleased with our accommodations but the was the worst. There were 7 in our group and only 5 kitchen chairs. Really only 4 chairs cause the 5th one was broke. There werent enough silverware or glasses for our group. There were 3 chairs on the deck and 2 of them were broken. My husband who is having back surgery in 2 weeks sat on one and the chairs leg came out and he fell( we are waiting to see if it did any further damage). The refrigerator was missing a drawer and 2 shelves. The blanket on the bed on the main floor was dirty. The basement was a pleasant surprise it had been updated since the pictures were taken and it nice theater seating. The blankets on the bed in the basement were also dirty and in the the spare closet the extra blanket had sticky stuff on it. the upstairs bedroom was fine and the view from all of the decks were amazing. The worse part of everything was the hot tub that my sister and 2 sons got in because it looked clean. It was not there was sludge and slime all around once we got in and saw it we got out and went immediately to a hot shower. I called and complained on friday and didnt get anything done until sunday when the property manager called to see if my provlems were addressed. She was so nice and came right out with fresh blankets and got in the hot tub and drained and cleaned it. She was amazing.The cabin wasnot

Heck of a view.

The cabin was well kept but the owner could improve on the stock of the cleaning and kitchen supplies. Less than sufficient on the trash bags, TP, no coffee filters or coffee. I have stayed in numerous vacation sights and with the pretty penny of 2,000.00 the supplies were less than expected. But overall a nice place with a view.

Cabin views were amazing all in all a wonderful trip only thing l can say is need to update or repair some furniture and mattresses was supposed to be an iron there was not and guardrails on the road lol that last one is just a joke

Beautiful better than the photos buttt

The property was absolutely beautiful the views could not be beat!! Extremely clean.. But we did have a few minor things such as the faucets in the kitchen and basement bathroom constantly dripped (my son is autistic so this seriously upset him) the recliner chair in the living area when kicked out was broken, we could have used more towels and trash bags.. and one thing that was rather annoying was if 2 other rooms we’re using the television no one else could .. that was quite a issue for us especially when wanting to use the theater room.. But our over all stay was Great and we would stay again

Great place, enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the cabin. We stayed here in the middle of February 2023. We enjoyed the cabin and most of all the beautiful view of the mountains/valley! If we had to criticize anything, we would say they cabin needed a more thorough cleaning. Bugs in all the windows, sheets didn’t appear clean. Inside of cabinets had random things/trash (old batteries) Also several pickets were lose, was not safe for a 15 month old who now loves to walk and explore. Aside from this, our stay was awesome and would definitely recommend.

Weekend in the cabins

The views were amazing! The house was cool on all floors when we checked in. Very clean. Sheets were new. The downstairs shower is broken. The knob kept turning around. It would go to hot-cold-hot. I almost burned myself trying to cut off the shower. We called about the community pool. We got directions and the pool was CLOSED and it looked like it has been closed for sometime. Hot tub was nice and clean! Easy check in & out. Will consider staying again if that shower gets fixed.

Ok cabin

Nice cabin with a beautiful view. The pool was closed and looked as if it hasn’t been open in a long time, which was very disappointing seeing as that was one of the main reasons we booked this cabin! Kitchen is not fully stocked with pans or utensils especially when cooking for 8 people! No broom to sweep the floors! For what we paid we didn’t get what we were expecting!!

Worst Christmas Vacation Ever!!!

Property was very expensive! Nice amenities. Nice location. Unfortunately, the owner didn't feel that a small generator was worth installing on this large cabin. We lost power our 2nd day and it never came back on. The cabin was 35 degrees on the main floor when we finally were able to get down the mountain. The HOA did not clear the only road that accessed this area, so everyone was stranded with no heat, water, electricity, etc. We slept in our trucks when we were too cold to stay in the cabin. The property manager only refunded one day, since we left a day early... even though we could not get out any earlier. No communication from the property manager, other than the times I called to see if we had any options of getting help. We wanted to plan this trip every year, but will not book with this company again. Small complaints: No batteries is some remotes. Some remotes were missing. Gas fireplace in the basement did not work. Lights on back decks did not work. Top deck door would not stay closed. Very few pots and pans for cooking (which we couldn't do without electricity anyway). Very disappointed with lack of communication during/after being stranded and no refund for the nights spent in our vehicles.

Excellent property. We loved everything about it. Clean and nice. If I had to nit pick I fixed a loose door handle and remotes did not have batteries or backs on them. But easily remedied. But overall we loved it and will book it again.

Beautiful view and fantastic experience

Lot of space for two families and the view from the back porch is awesome. Very quiet location for a weekend getaway. We loved the theater room and enjoyed binge watching Netflix. Kitchen is decently stocked for family cooking. I highly recommend this place for anyone and will visit again. The only negative experience we faced was that cleaning crew was still inside when we arrived an hour late after check-in time but called the office and got an hour late check out. Overall our experience was fantastic.

Beautiful escape from chaos of city life

The location was amazing with breathtaking views of the valley and cities below. We spent Thanksgiving in the house with plenty of room to spread out on the three balconies and three levels of activity (theater, air hockey, kitchen area, pool table, hot tub). Just seeing the house brings a smile to my face. The drive into the house was like a roller-coaster and we were thrilled that there was a lot of vacancy on the mountainside. The fires of 2016 have destroyed dozens of homes in the area which leaves you without neighbors, traffic or internet connections. It was a win for us. It's not anywhere close to the park (about a 45 minute drive to get to trails). It was a quick 15 minutes into the chaos of Pigeon Forge. The kitchen is tiny with no counter space for fixing a large meal but the pots/pans were nice. There needs to be more glasses. The downstairs bed is pretty stiff but the other ones were very comfortable. The kitchen chairs absolutely need to be replaced. There were spindles coming undone constantly and a few were getting pretty shaky. We really enjoyed a table that could hold 8 people comfortably for eating and playing games. The teenagers LOVED the theater room and we all enjoyed a movie and football at the theater. When we arrived there were dead flies and lady bugs in the windowsills but it wasn't uncharacteristic for the area and season. The house overall was very clean and a quick sweep took care of them. We loved it. If I could find the exact same house much closer to the Smoky Mountain National Park, I'd be back every holiday!

Amazing!!

We enjoyed our stay very much!! The cabin was in a good location, especially if you're looking for a mountain get away. Accomidations were excellent, and the views were amazing. We could even see the fireworks from Dollywood from our deck. It wasn't too far from all the excitement of Pigeon Forge. It was just the perfect place to get away, and we will definitely rent here again!!

Great location with an amazing view!

We really enjoyed this cabin. The location is fairly close to all Pigeon Forge activities and the view can't be beat. Wyndham gave us a very informative instruction packet prior to our stay that included excellent driving directions as well as maintenance contact information, and check in info. The cabin has 3 separate floors and they were all neat and clean. We did have a maintenance issue but it was resolved very quickly (even though it was Thanksgiving Day). If you are going to do a lot of cooking, I suggest bringing a mixing bowl. They have the most of the essentials but couldn't find a mixing bowl. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the hot tub jets were not very strong, a couple of dining room chairs were broken and the air hockey table is very worn (but it worked). Overall, this was a nice cabin with an EXCELLENT VIEW!!

Terrible.

This place was, at first sight, ok. I noticed when I first got in, that the glass wear was limited...they had one wine glass. One. Upon closer inspection, it was noted that the sheets were dirty - I don't think they had been changed (yuck!!!!) and the washing machine was so full of mold it was unusable, which is important when you have a 12 year old playing baseball. Also, no one knew where the pool that is advertised in the picture is...I had to wait an entire day to have the company email me directions. On top of it all, the management team was rude to me, implying that I was making these things up. The bottom line is this: I have rented from VRBO for many years now because I like the fact that I am living, for a short period of time, in someone's home and it usually feels homey. This place is grungy and certainly not worth the money. If I EVER go back to this area, I will stay at a condo on the river - my friend stayed there and they had a beautifully appointed unit for a cheaper price, a pool with a lazy river, and access to the Pigeon Forge River. I am so sad that I did not rent a unit there and instead slept on DIRTY sheets and washed my clothes in the tub. Terrible.

Perfect spring break getaway!

My friends and I stayed at this cabin for spring break in March and we all loved it so much! The view is beautiful and all the amenities were so much fun. We played a lot of pool, were constantly in the hottub, cooked amazing meals, and watched movies at night. Eight adults lived and slept comfortably in the house; it had 3 full sized rooms with king beds and tvs, a pull out couch, and 4 love seats in the theater room. During our stay, the door lock's batteries died, but maintenance was fast and efficient in helping us. Can't wait for next spring break!
