NEW - Prime Location / Views / Private Pool & Hot Tub
Welcome to Bear Splash Retreat! Your perfect Smoky Mountain getaway. Minutes to everything Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg have to offer. Tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, you’ll have both the ease of a quick drive to main roads, flat parking, cell service, and even Uber Eats access but at the same time feel as though you’re deep in the forests of the Great Smoky Mountains with views of only rolling hills, trees, and cabins far off in the distance from each of the three porches.
The space There’s plenty of space and something for everyone on each of the three floors at Bear Splash Retreat…and lets not forget, a private INDOOR HEATED POOL!
**Main Floor** The fully equipped kitchen welcomes you first after only a few steps up to the covered porch from private parking directly in front of the cabin. The galley style kitchen offers everything you need for a comfortable stay including both a Mr. Coffee coffee pot as well as a single serve Kuerig. The main level also has a dining room that can seat 8 people, a cozy living room with an electric fireplace and large TV, a sleeper sofa, a private bedroom with a king size bed, a full bathroom with entrances from both the bedroom and the living room, and a large porch equipped with a gas grill and six rocking chairs.
**Lower Level with Swimming Pool and Hot Tub** The lower level boasts the piece de resistance of Bear Splash Retreat as well as the meaning behind its name. This 15x12ft heated pool (75-80 degrees) complete with waterfall has multiple depths and a staired entrance. The mural covering most of the space is inspired by the views that surround Bear Splash Retreat. There are plenty of ways to enjoy the lower level whether it’s in the heated pool, the hot tub, playing giant connect four, or just enjoying the views from the porch and sounds of the waterfall. A half bathroom, stackable washer and dryer, and another porch with more outdoor seating can also be found on the lower level. The lower level is completely separated from the rest of the cabin with a locked door and keypad at the bottom of the staircase.
**Upper Level with Pool Table and Arcade** Upstairs you’ll find everything you need to play while staying dry. A pool table, two arcade games with multiple games offered on each, ring toss, board games, large TV and more! The game room is not open to the main level below except at the staircase giving it a very private feeling and also keeping some of the game noise upstairs. There is a private bedroom with a king size bed. The game room also contains a bunk bed with two queen size beds, a full bathroom with entrances from both the bedroom and the game room, and another porch with loungers perfect for star-gazing completes the game room space.
**Guest Access** You will have access to the entire cabin to enjoy during your stay, including the private heated indoor pool. The route from Wear’s Valley Rd offers the most manageable path for any type of vehicle. Take care at night and in rain or snow as the roads can be slippery and lighting before entering the neighborhood is minimal. Parking for two or three cars is available directly in front of the cabin. Be sure to keep your car doors closed and locked as you never know when a curious bear may be visiting the area. The door codes for the main door and the pool room as well as other helpful information will be shared with you on your check-in day.

My family had an amazing time plenty of room. Communication with owner was great she answered any questions I had. The view off top deck was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the pool we will Definitely come back! Oh there is a bathroom on every floor loved that..
Our family didn’t get to the cabin until after it was dark, which I don’t recommend since it’s quite an adventure getting up there. The cabin was clean and there was a Xmas tree set up which was a nice touch since we arrived on December 26th. There were no instructions on how to get the WiFi password or how to work such things as the TV’s or electric fireplace which we thought would’ve been helpful. It took a little while to hear back from the host to get the WiFi password, but understandable as it was the day after Xmas. The video arcade console was great for our younger guests, but the joystick didn’t work going downward, so we couldn’t play Pac-Man, which was a bummer, but there were many other games that still worked. The indoor pool and hot tub were delightful, as were the beds, very comfy. The bedroom on the middle level had a lock on the closet door which we didn’t quite understand, so we couldn’t hang up any of our clothes. There were quite a few lights that were out outside on the lower level where the hot tub is. Those were our biggest reasons for giving 4 stars instead of 5. All in all we enjoyed ourselves very much. We ate many meals and played many games at the dining table and our host was even nice enough to send us donuts the first morning we were there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun getaway with friends or family.
Everything was really nice! Make sure to get the WiFi password before you get there, service is spotty. The pool was decent size! We used the grill and had everything we needed. 4/5 only because there wasn’t a projector or tv in the pool room , it would have been cool to watch football while swimming.
We loved staying here, we come to PF all the time but this is our first time staying in a cabin and the owner was so helpful and answered any question we had, but my daughter wanted to just rent a cabin and invite a couple friends for her bday and that's what we did and loved every minute of it and we will definitely be back, the owner even sent us donuts she is the greatest ❤️
Christmas with my family. Fabulous except not being decorated at all for Christmas. Hard to explain that to my little ones. Other than that 10 out of 10
When we arrived, the pool guy was there. He said he had just arrived 30 minutes before our check in time. The pool was disgusting. The hot tub wasn’t warm. He was attempting to get the pool back to where it should be. Before he left, he told us it would be a few hours before we should get in the pool. After a long day of everyone traveling, they were really looking forward to the pool and hot tub. The pool table is in really bad shape. It has gouges out of the green, the plastic from the pockets are all falling off, the pool sticks do not have ends on them, it was just rough. The arcade games- nobody could even figure out how to get them to work. Donkey Kong kind of worked for a few minutes. It was a bust. This really stunk because, again, it was the intended entertainment. There is a ring toss game on the wall. But there are no rings. None of the toilets worked correctly. I informed the host and she sent someone out right away. They still do not work properly. The couch on the main floor is missing its entire side of leather. It’s definitely been used a lot by people who didn’t care. But it was quite comfy. There aren’t really proper cooking supplies for a family of up to 10 guests. Small pot small pan. Can opener doesn’t work. There was trash all over the yard that the balconies overlook. The upstairs bed was so soft that it created a bowl. The WiFi didn’t work. Aside from those things it was great. The host was great and always tried to help. She was quick to respond.
