"No reception found our rooms and assumed they were ours. Simple accommodation but suited our circumstances excellently. Suzanne becoming a run down town. One very good pizza restaurant and a cafe closed 2130 on a day France was playing in the euros???"

Nicole & her husband were excellent hosts who made us feel very much at home. Her breakfasts were a morning feast which we looked forward to with relish: nothing was too much for Nicole. "We had an amazing stay at Château d’Étoges. The castle is beautiful, full of history, and surrounded by peaceful gardens. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a great selection. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect place to experience the French countryside. We also enjoyed the restaurant and the excellent Champagne selection.
