"We booked this hotel for the indoor pool so the kids can spend their time swimming, upon arrival we were asked if we received a call that the pool will be closed due to maintenance(which we did not)This was extremely frustrating as the pool was the reason that we booked the hotel. They offered to remove the resort fee from our reservation but during checkout they tried to charge it again. It was extremely hard to get the personnel to turn on the firepits or deliver anything to our room. I understand it is off season but if you cannot operate on the level of service a good hotel is supposed to operate do not keep it open"

The owner was extremely responsive and helpful in answering questions. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely consider coming again. Consideration: I would not recommend this house for anyone who has trouble with stairs (as the main entry & pool access requires use of stairs) or has an aversion to technology. The “tech” is pretty elementary but does require downloading / understanding of apps, streaming etc to operate amenities."
