"Enjoyed our stay at the HUALUXE mainly due to the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Our room was a bit dated and a bit dusty in some corners, but overall not too bad.
Location was great, easy to walk into the central area with lots of restaurant choices!

"I booked this hotel with some concerns at the first beginning since it’s located in Shanghai Stadium. I was not sure if it’s convenient to get in and out. But after I checked in with my daughter, we were so impressed by this hotel. All the staff members are very nice and polite. The breakfast buffet is so delicious with both western and Chinese styles. "This hotel is a SCAM! When I reserved this hotel through Hotels.com, I pre-paid the hotel fee. But, the employees at the desk asked me to pay ONCE AGAIN, telling me that the fee paid over Hotels.com would be refunded.
That didn’t happen. Eventually I paid TWICE. And the hotel refused to refund.
So, I was double-charged.
I think this is a classic way to lure foreigners to pay more.
The hotel even doesn’t answer the phone.
If you don’t want to be scammed, please do not use this hotel."

"We came from America and We stayed at this hotel for 7 days and i have to say this is by far the best hotel and hospitality i have experienced in a very long time. Very nice and helpful staffs, very clean and spacious rooms, great brekfast buffet and overall amazing atmosphere. We are definitely coming back and staying at this hotel without doubt.
