I thought the hotel was Beautiful, quiet with lovely views. I stayed on the eighth-floor club level, which was peaceful. My room was quite spacious and with both a shower and bathtub. The front desk staff was friendly, and the people at the door were helpful with my luggage and assisted I needed help . The on-site restaurant was convenient . Overall, a nice stay!

Breakfast was wonderful, the gym is well equipped, pool area is great. The door staff was very helpful arranging rides. The beds were comfortable and daily cleaning service was thorough. I will stay there again.

Reception staff was reasonable. Breakfast (at restaurant) was good. One great surprise: The housekeeping team was attentive with high EQ and could attend to what we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. They also made it a point not to disturb us, especially for the not-morning-person us. Definitely going back for our next trip to Shanghai!

Beautiful, Well-Managed Hotel with Solid Service A very good experience at the Sofitel Hongqiao. The staff were kind and made a noticeable effort to be helpful, which I valued. This positive atmosphere is a clear reflection of good management and training. The hotel's design is the real standout—the spaces are beautifully decorated, from the grand entrance to the rooms. The high-quality materials give a strong sense of luxury. My stay was enjoyable and the environment definitely elevated my business trip into a more relaxing experience.

The staff are very good, giving advice and communicating at a good level. The bedroom is big and comfortable, but cleaning is not much, maybe because the staff do not dare to touch the customers. There is a shuttle bus service to the airport, to the exhibition building, and help when I have a problem with losing my phone on the taxi and helping to coordinate very well. Full 10, I give 100. The only downside is that this area is very far from the subway, making travel not very convenient.

Very comfartable bad, and room! good location next to the train station. we arrived early morning, so we checked in around 9:00 am, and so they charged us for additonal half a day. Crew doesn't speak english so well. Thank you.

The restaurant is a disaster! no dinner served, at the bar we had to wait almost 2 hr for a Burger. The hotel is very good, breakfast is also good, but is amazing that there is no proper restaurant working in this hotel. Another point is that there is almost NO staff speaking English.
