"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!"

"The accommodations were comfortable. I recommend the address location be better labeled on the stone wall. The cab driver had difficulty finding Cabin 3. The stone wall hides the view of the cabin. The laundry from the previous tenants never got picked up and the red laundry bag sat on the front stoop all week. The outside views from the dining room window, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were splendid."

"This was our second holiday at High Bield - we stayed 2 years ago. It is a very special place to stay as it is in a wonderful location. We only used the car twice during the one week we stayed because all the walks and cycle rides could be done from the house. Windermere station was only a short drive away so we could easily pick up family arriving from London. Weather wasn’t what we expected in early June - warm for the first couple of days then much cooler with rain for the rest of the week...

"Very impressed with the barn suitability and comfortness. Kev was a fantastic host with local knowledge and was very helpful. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day of shopping and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a bbq. "We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Just returned from a week at Richmond House, where everything has been renovated to a high specification, which makes it a great holiday home. The kitchen is well equipped with quality brands. All the wardrobes and bedroom fittings have been well thought out. Big walk in shower and large free standing bath. Again all the bathrooms have been fitted and finished to a high standard. "We have raved about this house to so many people. It was beautiful and spacious and right near some amazing hikes. This area is breathtaking. Working with the host was very easy and they were very responsive. We highly recommend this home. If you don't have a rental car, make sure you come prepared with some food (as there is only 1 pub nearby, and it has unpredictable hours). We hope to return one day!"

"Very nice property. The unit appeared to be brand new. Unit was fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. The development has other amenities but we did not use them like a pool and rec building. Great location in the Lakes District for jumping off to see other locations in the area. The host was very responsive to requests via the VRBO app. My only negative would be the poor internet quality. It frequently kicked us off or was unusable for periods of time."
