"We had a lovely weekend at Redwood Grove for my birthday. The unit is light and airy. The hot tub got up to 104F and heated up quickly. The kitchen was fully functional, and the technology quite up to date. Lovely, friendly neighborhood for walking and garden-watching, too. Very close to hiking trails and redwood groves at the state park. Cute town of Felton at your fingertips, and a rockin’ pub/beer garden an easy walk away (but far enough for no noise). Our dog was fully relaxed and gives five tail thumps approval. All in all, a great place for a couple or small family. In addition, Gowa the owner was extremely helpful and responded to our inquiries immediately. Thank you, Gowa and VRBO!"

"This hotel has a great location to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It is a beautiful new building, clean, secured parking garage, decent breakfast, and spacious rooms. Unfortunately we encountered a few problems during our stay which was disappointing given the price for our room. We reserved a 2 queen + sofa bed for our family of four. The beds did not seem like queen size beds, more like doubles. The sofa bed was broken - one section wouldn't lock in place, so there was a valley then the end angled upwards. Blankets and linens for the sofa bed were not in the room. We tried calling the front desk @ 10pm but no one answered the phone. I went down to the lobby, and a sign at the desk said the employee was on a 15 minute break. When he returned, he gave me and another guest (with the same issue) the requested linens. The outlets on the nightstand didn't work for my husband's CPAP machine. Again, disappointing hassles for an expensive night's stay."

"Visited with family of eight in three excellent cabins. Very comfortable, very beautiful. We all loved, loved, loved it! The river was a big highlight for the kids! We will be back! We intend to make an annual get-together here!"

"The treehouse was very nice and enjoyable to stay plus nice and quiet too. It would have been nice to have a known it was above a garage with a lot of stairs to climb. Comfy beds, nice living area, and kitchen. Two things the shower is pretty small with not a lot of pressure to rinse your hair very well, but totally appreciated a shower. Second the 2 twin beds need a little WD40, because they were pretty squeaky every time you moved. We had a lovely weekend. It was a special 65th birthday very memorable too. "Great place especially if you are headed to Santa Cruz to ride mountain bikes, minutes from all the good stuff at UCSC and empire grade. Real nice place, would love to own a house in this neighborhood. "
