"The House Absolutely Lived Up to the Pictures!We stayed for five nights with 6 adults and 4 kids, ages 8–10, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house has several different gathering spaces, which made it easy for everyone to spread out, relax, or spend time together. The beds were comfortable, and everyone had a great place to sleep.The pool was a huge hit, and so was the game room. We even had a few very competitive adults vs. kids Mortal Kombat battles! There was always something for everyone to do.The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools we needed, and the coffee bar was a really nice touch. Getting into the city or out to the beaches wasn't bad at all, and there were plenty of local places nearby to grab a bite to eat.One of my favorite features was the front courtyard. It was a wonderful little sanctuary when I wanted to get away from all the activity in the house and enjoy some quiet time.You know how you look through all the pictures before booking and just hope the house actually lives up to the hype? This house did. It was just as advertised and did not disappoint.We had an awesome stay, made some great memories, and would highly recommend this house, especially for families or larger groups. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our extended family had a wonderful week in San Diego with this fabulous villa as our home base. The home has enough lovely bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, and gathering spaces (inside and out) for everyone to be very comfortable—we especially enjoyed the patios with gorgeous views and the pool and hot tub! The location is convenient to many tourist sites, grocery stores, and restaurants. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with everything you might need. We appreciated Scott’s responsiveness whenever we had questions. It was a terrific stay in every way! To echo one note mentioned by other guests, this house has many stairs—something to keep in mind if your group includes people with mobility issues. It was not a problem for our group but is important to be aware of."
La Mesa Family Retreat - 20 minutes to Beaches & More!

"Stayed with my parents and my tween daughter; we were in town to visit family nearby. This is a clean, safe property conveniently located where we wanted to be. Lots of dining and grocery options within about 10 minutes. Personal favorites are Costco, Dairy Queen, In-n-Out and Chick-fil-A. 20–25-minute drive to Balboa Park and the airport. We appreciated off-street parking with room for 2 cars and having the flexibility to park in the garage. Lots of space for cooking, eating and hanging out. Everything was clean and 99% in great working order. Very minor maintenance issues that did not interfere with our ability to use the home. AWESOME to have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. We also appreciated the binder with local tips (Narumi sushi was terrific) and used a few of the games. AC worked very well with warm temps. Much better experience than staying in a hotel, and a better price as well!"

"The hosts were super responsive! There is a water station, coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave, but there is no kitchen sink or oven, just an FYI. Also, there are steps to get into the VRBO. We got in late at night, so it took us a minute to realize where we needed to go:) The location is close to the expressway and very convenient to get to many places. Again, the communication with the hosts was easy and awesome!"

"Alvin was fabulous. He answered every question we had w/in 5 minutes. The outdoor area is excellent for all ages- pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen and playground. Well stocked kitchen. They even had a crib, pack n play, and plates/utensils for kids. Easy 20-25 minute commute to almost everywhere."
