" I travelled to Giza with my young son for a long weekend in Jan 2026 and we stayed at the pyramids View. We landed in the evening and were held up at passport control for ages. Thank goodness airport transfer was included in the price of the booking which took away the stress of having to work out how taxis work with a small child in tow at night. We had one of the rooms at the front of the property and could sit on our balcony each evening and gaze at the pyramids and spinx - - uninterrupted views . The hotel team were exceptionally welcoming and patient with my boisterous son . sheriff at front desk organized all of our tours and Mohamed our guide was happy to detour to a metro station because my son loves trains. We recommend the organized Nile cruise dinner and belly dancing evening . The local area is bustling with hawkers, camels, horse carriages and taxis. It isn’t a quiet area! There’s also a Pizza Hut and kfc 2mins walk away from the hotel. "

"The lobby of this hotel was great and the views of the Nile was lovely. We had a memorable stay and the staff were all very good, always smiling. Convenient location to get around. On a clear day we could see the Pyramids from our balcony. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of food which was well enjoyed. Overall a great time and experience at the Hilton Cairo Grand Nile."

Big thanks to Abdulrahim, my room cleaner, who not only did a great job of keeping my room immaculate, but managed to reunite me with something I’d left behind in my room before I had made it out of the front door after checking out. "Very pleased with this hotel and staff. The room was comfortable, with a balcony area and accessible to the upstairs outdoor area which gives stunning views of the pyramids. The service we received was excellent. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. 100/10. "
