Ocean Break-- Gather with friends and family in a truly magical oceanfront setting. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is newly decorated with luxury and comfort in mind. Just a short walk to the Shelter Cove airstrip, public golf course, restaurants, pizza parlor, coffee shop, beaches, tide pools and art galleries.

The kitchen is equipped with a Sub-Zero fridge, high end appliances and thoughtfully stocked with everything that you will need to make delicious, home cooked meals.

Every room in the house is designed to take full advantage of unobstructed Lost Coast views. Natural light, ocean breezes and vaulted wood beamed ceilings make the 3rd floor open concept living area a delight. Play a game of pool, relax on the couch, turn on the gas fireplace, enjoy a family meal at the large dining table, or serve cocktails on the oceanside deck.

The master bedroom suite features a steam shower, gas fireplace, king Tempuerpedic bed with high thread count linens and down comforter. Each queen room is furnished with plush, organic mattresses, down comforters and luxurious crisp, white linens.

After a day of beach combing, hiking or exploring tide pools, relax in the hot tub on the 2nd story deck, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Work remotely at Ocean Break's home office space, equipped with comfortable desk chair, Starlink internet, scanner/ printer and office supplies.

Another Memorable Trip

The was our second stay here and everything was just as we remembered. The house was clean, spacious, and well stocked for all needs. The views are unremarkable. Already planning next years return trip!

Absolutely Amazing!

This was a great place right on the ocean! So comfortable and beautiful amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and very modern. The views from every window were amazing. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hot tub was ocean front and fit all six of us comfortably.There are three flights of stairs to get to the kitchen, we didn't have an issue with that, but renters should be aware of that.I would stay there again in a heartbeat! The hosts were incredibly helpful and prompt to respond, thank you!!

Loved this place!

There were so many things to love about this house and we can’t wait to stay here again! *Host was an excellent communicator, helpful and always prompt with answering questions.*House was very clean & welcoming and looked just like the pictures (better in person, actually). I LOVED how the top floor had so many windows for natural light and views of both the mountains & the ocean. *Very spacious with comfortable furniture throughout. The various balconies/patios also offered excellent views both during the day and at night.*Loved the master bedroom & bathroom! So spacious with an awesome shower that had two separate shower heads. *Really appreciated the filtered water dispenser in the kitchen and the ability to open a window right by the stove. *I completely forgot to take pictures of things inside, but I would 100% recommend staying here.

Oceanside retreat

We loved our short stay here. The location in shelter cove can’t be beat and the house was simply perfect. We loved the views from all levels, the hot tub, the outdoor seating, the kitchen and the proximity to everything we wanted to do in the area.

Comfortable home with great views

House is just as described in the listing. Beautiful views no matter where you look! Everything was comfortable, clean, and the host was super responsive when we had temporary issues with the Internet (quickly resolved). We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Shelter Cove!

The perfect relaxing getaway

This was our second time at this property, and it’s every bit as amazing as we’d remembered it. Such a beautiful, relaxing location. Easy access to tide pools, the airstrip, the beach, and everything else in town. The home itself is great — plenty of real estate for sleeping, beds are comfy, and kitchen is well-equipped. Pool table and hot tub were nice touches, and the steam shower was a pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to return!

Stay here, this is the one.

They could double the price and it would still be the one. This property is perfect in every way, i’ve been to a lot of VRBO’s and this one felt more like home than any other.

Restful stay with all the amenities to simply exist in the beauty of the lost coast!

The views can’t be beat on all 3 levels of this beautiful home. It’s truly a ways to get there but so worth the isolation, no crowds. Saw a whale out front within first 30 minutes, deer in yard the next and seals playing on day 3. Walking the tide pools both at low and high tide is a special treat. Highly recommend bringing in groceries and kitchen has great amenities to prepare as little or much as desired. We should have booked another couple nights!

Absolutely magnificent!

My brother said I should rate this place terrible so that it will be available for EVERY TIME we come to Shelter Cove. :) It was defiantly the most beautiful place I have stayed at (and I have stayed at some spectacular places) I have been to Shelter Cove before, but staying in this incredible home, made it that much better. We experienced mostly rain the entire trip so we could not take advantage of the outdoors much, but the home is magnificent. Friendly owners and the whole visit could not have been better!! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We can't wait to come back!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

I can't say enough about how amazing this house is! Great communication texts/emails where to eat and what to do. The views are just breathtaking, the space to cook in the kitchen (stocked with spices, coffee, nice bowl of goodies, etc.), Pool Table, Hot tub and my favorite the steam shower!! I'm allergic to a lot of shampoo's etc. and I could us the Alaffia Shampoo/conditioner! The decor throughout the house is great and the beds and pillows were SO comfortable! I have a hard time sleeping and I always bring my MrPillow with me and I didn't need to use it. We usually camp here annually (we did get a spot just to have a firepit experience roasting marshmallows :)) but from now on.... we will be coming here instead! The kitchen is set up so nice with everything you need as we cooked for us and two other couples that stayed else where. It accommodated everyone nicely to eat and for fun playing pool and card games! Also they're Pet friendly and this was a plus! Morning coffee on the third floor deck is just spectacular!

Incredible Place to get away from it all

The Ocean Break property hugs the edge of the Lost Coast. You can't get much closer to some of the most beautiful and remote coast line on the entire west coast. From any of the three levels you have a sweeping 180+ degree view of much of the 75 miles of undeveloped coast line. The home is a jewel and provides you with everything you need. Large Living area, a very well stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances, three comfortable bed rooms, and three decks for sitting or hot tubbing. I want to give a special shout out to the master bedroom shower. It's a steam shower that all of us instantly fell in love with. Our host Marcy couldn't have been better. She was very helpful and offered us assistance that went far above what I could have expected. She answered all of my questions. Accommodated us when plans changed and took away any stress involved with the property. Some quick notes about Shelter Cove. It's not a place you go to do a lot of stuff. Yet that is what made it so enjoyable for us. It's remoteness is what makes it special. Its a beautiful, clean community. Everyone we met made us feel welcomed. The restaurant selection is small. The pizza was good. The Ale house was fun and enjoyable. The General store is small but surprisingly well stocked. We got a massage That was so relaxing I fell asleep. We went to Black Sand beach and had miles of it to ourselves. Tide pooling at low tide. We will go back if we can. The relaxation factor is undeniable.

At first if ypuvhqve high expectatations, the feont door and the duat will confuse you. Ut once you walk around eapecially once you teaxh the third floor youctealize you are in paradise. Probably the best spot in ahelter cove. I was convinced i was going to move there forever but with this house being my home. Woould live to aray again if prices arent so high...its not worth 800 a night... i dont anything is. But it was a great experience for one going through spiritual crisis. 400 is still too high but more worth the stay considering there is nothing out there.

Serenity on the ocean

Everyone in our family loved Shelter Cove, and the house really brought it all together. Amazing location, with 180 degree ocean views that never get old. We hung out on the top floor almost the whole time, we really really enjoyed it. The town itself is so serene and relaxing, and has an awesome small town feel. Everyone waves, stops to chat, and seems genuinely happy to be there.
