"I am little disappointed in this stay. The TV didn't work. The lights in the room had defective light bulbs, there was no ice machine on our floor and the shower flow was barely a stream. This is unusual for the hotel brand. But this was a disappointing experience. Staff was as accommodating as they could be but just couldn't overcome these deficiencies."

"The room was outdated. The ac control panel was old and loose from the wall. The fact that in order for the shower to come on the spout had to be pulled down that was unsanitary. The staff was ok. The towels were thin and had a brown stain on them"

"It’s a beautiful hotel filled with plants. Breakfast was well organized and delicious. The room we stayed in needed some maintenance as the hotel was in the process of remodeling. Our a/c did not work well. We checked in around 6:00 and our room was at 80’. The room never did cool off. We were exhausted and decided to tough it out. When I called the front desk the next morning to tell them the room needed maintenance, he was dismissive and didn’t even ask what needed fixing. I told him that our room stayed warm and that the a/c was not working…he told me that they would have sent a maintenance man last night to fix the problem if we called then. Not the answer I was looking for. "

"The front desk staff is definitely the best thing about this hotel. The front area was very clean. But the elevators were dirty, one of them did not work at all. I had an infestation of ants in my bathroom that was not addressed after asking for someone to clean them up. There was mold in the tub basin. The ants were coming from cracks within the tub basin area. Light fixtures were missing with wires exposed. Mold all over the ceiling, the toilet seat was at least 15 years old. The size of the room was very nice. However, the carpet also smelled moldy. The air-conditioning did not work the first night until six the next morning. I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password and did not get it until the next day. These things should’ve already been provided at check-in. While I typically like best westerns, I will not be returning to this location."

"After checking into the room I was washing up and noticed it was dirty behind the faucet, I looked closer and saw an old dried up contact lens. I went and told the front desk and they called house keeping. I decided I’d go for a walk. I was gone for almost 2 hours and when I got back the room still hadn’t been cleaned. I went to the front desk again and complained. One of the ladies there went up and personally cleaned it. I then went to the bar and ordered a rare ribeye and it came out well done, they sent it back and when I got it again it was closer to raw than rare. Kitchen manager came out and talked with me and he made it right. I normally don’t complain but for this price of room and steak my expectations were higher than what I received. Front desk ladies, bartenders and managers of the bar/kitchen were all super friendly and polite. If ever in Lubbock again I will give it another shot."

"Right next to a Walmart and several restaurants, no issues with room, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. "

"I wasn’t able to fully connect to the wi-fi. In the room it never connected. It would connect when I was by the door, close to the hallway but it would always drop once I was completely in the room. There was only one wash cloth and it had a red stain on it. The clerk was nice and gave me a clean one."

"Hotel was close to where we needed, check in was quick and easy, breakfast had decent options, plenty of parking. The fitness room definitely needs to be updated with more equipment."
