"The hotel was amazing. The beds were sooooo incredibly soft and comfortable. Very clean. The bathroom was very nice. The onsen was very nice. We were greeted with a welcome drink voucher in the bar. There is a guest lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks, snacks and icecream. Unfortunately The laundry was always busy. And the only disappointment was that I received a confusing email with extra tourist tax fees, I emailed property to confirm and I was charged more than I was advised. I questioned this but never received a reply. Very close to subway station. Easy 17 min walk to either Kyoto station or Nishiki market area."

"Room was very small, and felt very humid even though AC was on. Good thing about this hotel was really close to train station and taxi and bus was available easily. Drug store was next door and plenty of food option near by. We didn’t go for their buffet breakfast, as it was not really buffet, you had to choose a plate and salad and drinks were buffet but not coffee. Staff were non English speaking so very little help and different to communicate."

"This wasn’t our favorite hotel in Japan. It did not have has many amenities and no free coffee like many (all) of the other hotels we stayed in in the country. The shower also wasn’t very hot and got water all over the bathroom. That being said, it was a good location and clean. It did the job, just wasn’t anything special."
