"The evening Registration person could not understand English. Even with Google Translate we had a difficult time. He didn’t offer to help us with the language barrier, but just stood there with a blank look. No explanation of services, breakfast hours or that we had to pre order for breakfast. The morning staff was better and tried their best to help us with breakfast. "

"旅行前の丁寧な案内から、港や空港へのタクシーの手配など細やかなサービスがあり、安心して旅行ができました。 食事は、九州や長崎のものというより、五島を中心とした食材が多く、どれも美味しく楽しかったです。朝ごはんの和食は、私には少し量が多かったです。 いつでも入れる温泉の露天風呂のおかげで、疲れも癒されました。 アルコール以外の冷蔵庫の飲み物がほぼ全て無料で、長崎のお茶やにんじんジュースなど、トレッキングに持っていけるのは助かりました。 ベランダに鷹？が飛んで来て嬉しいびっくりでした。 調べたところ、五島は、夏に日本で繁殖した多くの鷹が秋に東南アジアへ向かうために最後に立ち寄る場所として有名で、運が良ければ、何百匹？の鷹が群れで旅立つ鷹柱を見られるそうです。 たくさんの自然と丁寧な接客で、優しい時間が流れる滞在となり感謝しています。"

"One of a kind hotel. I believe there are only 2 rooms in the property. The owner met me when I checked in and explained how to lower the blinds facing the street as the shower and toilet are facing the street. Well designed in general but it took me awhile to locate light swithces. The owner helped me book a nearby restaurant Motontoko where the owner chef is a fisherman who serves the fish he caught that day. "
