We were a bit worried that this might be too far from the center of town but on the contrary, it was an easy walk and we enjoyed being in a quieter location. Walk into town was beautiful. "The hotel was very clean, spacious, and the staff very kind and polite. For people travelling, the staff speaks english very well, so check in and out is easy. As a guest, you are given a complimentary drink/food item every day, from a pre set menu; there is alcohol on this menu for those that are wondering. There is also a complimentary breakfast at their restaurant right next to the concierge. It is a traditional style breakfast, that includes Miso soup, natto, rice, tamago, salad, pork sausage, and fish. Drinks are refillable. Overall great place to stay. Toyooka is a small but peaceful city, so the train is within walking distance, as is everything else."
