A very authentic pub with a hotel upstairs. Food was top notch and very creative. Great breakfast. What stood out was the people - everyone we encountered working at the establishment went out of there way to make sure we were having a great stay. The proximity to the train staion was perfect - just across the street.

We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities and attention to detail. Attentive, lowkey staffing. The comfiest bed and lovely linens, with powerful aircon. I have no notes! Would absolutely stay here again. Food was great, too. Pricey but absolutely worth it.

We are so happy to have found Duck Lodge outside Brighton proper. Located in a safe rural picturesque village, it is an easy train ride into Brighton and you won’t have to hassle with parking and crowds. Our host, Keith, keeps the property immaculately maintained and made sure we had anything and everything we needed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, brought to the door each morning. The food was fantastic & plentiful. It was a friendly and generous attitude. I was treated as family. I was there as memorial to my brother & his wife who lived Brighton; sadly they are both gone ....I really needed that friendliness 😳🌹 thank you

The location near the sea & pier was excellent. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Felt like family. Bathroom is a bit small, but that's to be expected so not an issue. Breakfast buffet was great, one of the best at any small hotel we've stayed.

Back room. Spacious city view was the back of the terraced houses, big contrast to the front of the hotel. Friendly staff, nice food. Arrange your front parking brfore u arrive as it first come first serve.
