"It was what we needed for a few hours before our flight enough to get some sleep. However my husband did not like the bed but I did. The light from around the window kept me awake though. I do have to have darkness when I go to sleep so it probably wouldn't bother other people. The shower was great and we had towels provided"

"Good hotel for an overnight stay. It does look a little tired and could do with an upgrade, but for the price it's okay. Lovely pleasant staff and a good breakfast. £10 for overnight parking in attached car park. Room was clean but was very dated. Good powerful hot shower."

"Hotel was clean and comfy. The standard is like a Premier Inn, it does the job and is comfortable. For the price you can't fault it. The bar and food were nice and staff were great. If you join the loyalty programme you get 10% off your first order so make sure you do that. The pool area was really nice, with a nice pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, it was a bit busy but you would expect that at the weekend. Overall good value for the price."

"Staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms really clean. Food at the Brightside on the water was excellent. Best burger I’ve ever had. Loved the cocktails too. Will def stay again next time I come Birmingham. I’d highly recommend."
