I’m not sure how this property got 5 star reviews but here is a reality check: 1. Major temperature control issues in the winter, every bedroom an electric heater but only one of them has something that resembles a thermostat that even doesn’t work very well. All the others room you have to continuously turn the heater on and off in order to maintain somewhat stable temperature. 2. The cabin itself is a decent size but it has a lot of bulky and not very useful furniture to the point where we couldn’t find room to put a pack and play for a baby in any of the two main bedrooms. 3. A third bedroom if you even can call it a bedroom is actually a converted porch behind the sliding door that has even bigger temperature control issues because of all the breeze. That is the actually a biggest room by far and it has its own outside exit but not really great in the winter for the reasons I mentioned above. 4. Overall cabin is clean and decently maintained but everything is on the older and cheaper side. We definitely would not rent this cabin again in the winter. 5. The owner is responsive but not very reliable. Promised to do several things while we were there but didn’t do any of them blaming it on the weather which was not so bad since we were driving all the time just fine.

Just needed a place to crash while celebrating with friends close by. We had more than enough room for just us two. I actually stored my suitcase in a bedroom as my own walk in closet.

Our first time staying in a home on our mini vacations. And I would definitely recommend to stay at this house. It was clean, nice porch, nice touch with heating with fireplaces in the rooms. Everything was equipped for cooking and more. Enjoyed our mini vacation with the snow in our surrounding areas and in the backyard.
