"This is a beautiful hotel. A traditional style property with a rustic charm. Wood panelling, roof beams and cladding add to its charm. Gorgeous stained glass windows enhance the stunning dining room. Friendly informative staff offer a warm welcome. A tasty continental and freshly cooked breakfast is available. Placed in a central location to all local attractions. A well stocked bar. Discounted parking is available, a shortwalk away but bags were secured stored ahead of checking in and diections were given alongside a useful map."

"Very good location and the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and overall, the stay was very good. Parking access is really tight, but I appreciate that being so close to the town centre makes parking a bonus."

"Really clean room with comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. Great location, just over the bridge from the main centre. Perfect for our one night stay in Shrewsbury - we will definitely be back!"

"Only reason I have an average for the amenities is that we didnt really use any other than the bar for a drink so couldnt provide a true reflection. We stayed one night to attend a wedding at another local hotel. The hotel is pleasant, quiet and there is a nice walk to Battlefield 1403 which is a local farm shop and cafe."
