"I thought the property was very nice inside with the use of traditional Japanese styles of the tatami rooms and comfortable beds as well as the sliding rice paper doors. It had a great shower room, which could be used like a Onsen with a deep soaking tub and short stool with bucket. But even with these traditional styles, you could’ve easily taken a standup shower. Washer and dryer worked great. Kitchen is well equipped. Breakfast was delivered promptly every morning, however, might recommend...

"The area around the hotel is perfect if you want to stay away from the more crowded parts of the city, but still within walking distance of lots of great places. Plenty of places to eat and drink with a great local environment. The staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions and needs. The rooms were clean and well attended regularly. The waygu dinner is a must try."

"Very comfortable and big hotel. We loved the room! We had a hard time finding our way walking out of the hotel to the street. The staff couldn’t explain to us in English. There are many restaurants in this hotel but all are very expensive and without English menu. We found out later it’s much much cheaper to eat on the street."
