"We werden netjes ontvangen door de eigenaar. Hij spreekt goed Engels. Het appartement is heel netjes en ruim met twee badkamerspullen en heeft een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. We hebben een prima verblijf gehad. Een ritje naar Siena is maar 6km."

Picked us up from the train station, answered all of our questions, gave us good recommendations for dinner, made sure we were comfortable in our stay & even drove us to pick up our rental car! "We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. "

"Fabulous location but if you like reliable hot water and sufficient light in your bedroom and a comfortable mattress and pillows, this may not be your place! We were disappointed that our host checked us in promising to fix a lighting problem that they clearly could not fix and never followed up. We had to phone for help when our hot water disappeared; this is apparently a frequent issue and they told us over the phone how to restart the water heater. There were no cleaning supplies in the...
