"We stayed in this cabin before, but we were absolutely delighted by the upgrades! Everything had been updated. The towels, the sheets were all new and very nice quality. There was coffee, filters, creamer and sugar in the kitchen. It felt like we were staying at a fancy hotel! We can’t wait to go back!"

Village Camp Truckee
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed this place, though I thought the place was a little too expensive for two people, but there were no options for two people cabins. Because the cabins are relatively new, they are very clean. It was so clean that it was obvious bleach had been used in the fridge to clean it. That smell took a day to subside in the fridge! Don’t use bleach to clean the fridge please. I do admire how clean someone was trying to get it but it was too much! There was a hair ball in the shower that I am assuming the cleaning crew just couldn’t see. But otherwise, everything felt very clean. I’d recommend some sunshades or something (maybe drop down screens to try to block the sun out on the outdoor patio). The outdoor chairs were nice and comfortable, though I am not sure that the fire pit would be much use in the winter — didn’t let off a lot of heat. But we’re certainly quaint. The breakfast served on Saturday had a lot of variety and was a nice unexpected treat. The kitchen was very well stocked with what you needed for basic cooking. Maybe they could add some grill tools. Would definitely recommend if the price works for you of if you are having four people instead of two. They are adding more cabins, and I would love if they added some for two people."
