Cute little cottage for two

This cute little cottage was perfect for my husband and I to stay in for two weeks. It is right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. You are less than a mile from the Village. It had everything we needed to cook a few meals wirh. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was as described, cozy, and so close to the beach! We walked to the 3-5 minutes to the beach so the proximity was great! Small space but cozy enough for the 3 people we had! Check in/out was super easy.

While this is a small apartment, it had everything needed for our 2 week stay. The area was quiet and neighboring renters were friendly. The washer/dryer were convenient. Bed and furniture were comfortable. The best part is the closeness to the beach; right across the street. Close to the village, and the accessibility of the free Siesta Key Trolley made getting around easy.

A week on Paradise

A walk across the street and you’re on America’s #1 Beach! The free Village trolley is at the nearby corner. There is nothing fancy about the unit except the essentials. The owner was good to work with.

This is a small complex of just 4 units so you'll definitely get to know your neighbors... whether you'd like to or not:) Overall its a great little space. Perfect for one or two people!

I would definitely like to come back to this property. I am curious.as to what the weekly of monthy rates would be. Great location as I am a beach lover. It's close to the village. Not too many negatives. If I brought by laptop with I could have used the T. V. I could not get network stations. The leg room for the toilet is limited.if you are a tall person. As I am an electrician, I would put in a dimmer switch for living room light. I like this place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this property! The beach access is right across the road via a pedestrian crosswalk. It is within easy walking distance to the village, and there is a charming neighborhood right behind it to walk through. It was spotlessly clean! We were pleased to find a blowdryer, iron and ironing board, pillow top mattress. There were no coffee mugs, and the water in the shower was not quite hot enough to suit us. We would stay there again, just check to make sure the water situation is taken care of.

It was about 3 minutes to put our feet in the ocean, is walk able to the Village, checking in & out was fabulously easy, and it was just what we needed. Our agenda was filled only with going to the beach, so this little place undoubtedly met our needs. Our biggest "complaint" would have to be the air conditioner. Coming in at about 11:30pm and having the A/C set at 80* it took all night for it to cool down and it was veryyyy uncomfortable. Other than that, it was an absolutely splendid week! We'll definitely be back!!

A few issues but overall ok

This property has a great location. However the amenities are lacking. They only supplied one roll of toilet paper for a 5 day stay. We ran out on night 4 but couldn’t get in contact with the manager because they only are in from 9-6 daily. Most of the beach chairs were broken. The bathroom had no fan so the only small mirror in the place was usually foggy and our towels were damp most of the time. In addition, the dishes are hand wash only (no dishwasher or garbage disposal) and they supplied an old ragged sponge for our use. Most of the pots/pans are sterling silver but no cooking spray was provided. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable as well. Our stay would have been great if a bit more thought would have been put into the space.

It is the perfect little place. It had beach chairs, towels, and a cooler. The place was very clean and welcoming. I read reviews about the couch and didn’t think it was bad at all. The place is right across the road from a beach access and perfect spot for walking to the local restaurants and shops. We sometimes would walk or sometimes catch the free shuttle. We will def be renting this place again and even looking into the other properties owned by the same people. Thanks again for everything!!

Right for the price

This studio is in a great location right across the street from the beautiful beach. Parking is very tight if all rooms are occupied. The room itself is tight as well, but did it's job for the price. The bathroom is very small. I am not sure how a larger person can sit on the toilet. We did find mold on the shower curtain as there is no bathroom air vent. We also found a roach near the front door going to a bait trap. The room was clean when we arrived, but had a mildew smell. I suggest using the dehumidifier provided. The couch is well worn and had stains. The bed was okay for the three nights we were there. The mold was the biggest issue for me as I have chronic health conditions. I suggest adding a bathroom fan and a full length mirror. The room next door looked more appealing and larger. I would return if these things were done and all other rooms were full. Thank you.

Dirty and ran down

I honestly don’t know where to begin. It was dirty, literally had caked on dirt on the mounding. Only had a half a roll of toilet paper, maybe 2 squirts of dish soap and the AC did not get cooler than 74. Maintenance apparently came out, but was never resolved. Only 2 parking spaces for 4 units. I am as appalled to say the least and this was my first and last time using VRBO.

A perfect beach getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 9 year old daughter and I stayed here for a week in January. It was the perfect place for us! Great location -- just a short walk to the beach, just 10-15 minutes from the village. The studio itself had everything we needed, and was just the right size and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable. Parking was a little tricky at first, but once I figured out the best way to back out, it wasn't an issue. My only suggestion would be to put a broom in the unit. Try as we might, it was all but impossible to keep the sand at the beach, especially with a kid. We eventually located a broom in the breezeway by the washing machine, but it would be great if there was one readily available. Otherwise, we thought everything was perfect and won't hesitate to stay here again! We've stayed at several other rentals in other areas, and this was the easiest and best experience we've ever had.
