"The family that runs this homestay is so incredibly sweet. They don't speak much English, but that's okay. We got by! Danu called me on the phone upon check-in to make sure everything was to my liking. The street it's on is a very local one so there isn't much around, but I had a driver so it was perfectly fine. If you were to walk, I think it would have probably taken 15 or so minutes to the rock along a scenic road :) Danu's mother cooked me the best chicken curry I've ever had! So tasty!!...

"This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay. The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food. We really enjoyed our time there, certainly a place to disconnect in the middle of the island "

"This was a homestay although I may have been misled by the previous reviews my expectancy was high. However on arrival I was slightly disillusioned and even moreso when during the night on a visit to the loo I stepped on a huge Centipede.... Definitely not as highly rated as the reviews show.. but comfortable in its own way."

"We stayed some Nights and were Really glad about our stay. We have now 2 weeks in Sri Lanka and First Location we give 5 Stars Isuru Buildet a very Lovely Place there and is very helpful from breakfast to Dinner. Its close to Dambulla, Sigiriya and Polonaruwa. We Are driving with pur own Car, the Location is easy to find, Car parking is inside the Area. The private area is Safe with a fence arround. "This is a beautiful property with spacious rooms that make you feel like you are living in a lush green space. Clean rooms, nice space to work, comfortable bed. The only small complaint I have is the internet was a little slow, video calls for work were blurry, but it worked! Breakfast buffet was really good with lots of options. Bar was pretty pricy but it was nice. The pool was also a welcome amenity after hiking. Would definitely recommend. "
