The room was very comfortable, on a lovely property, so green and quiet, yet so near the city of Marseille. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, including fresh figs from her own trees! "We stayed at Lucia’s delightful Bastide for a couple of nights at the start of October. It was a peaceful setting with a great view of the surrounding area. The property is a beautiful old Bastide well kept, decorated and maintained - it was a pleasure to stay here. The breakfast was lovely and Lucia was very accommodating. Roquevaire is a short 5-10 mins drive from the property with a few restaurants. Easy to access to Cassis makes it a great base for discovering the coast and Calanques."

"It was rated 10/10. It is a run down house in a neighborhood away from everything. The street is so narrow it is impossible to park. It has one spot for parking. Otherwise,you park in a narrow street,and if you leave that lucky spot,you might not find another one. The room had not a private bathroom. If you want to have dinner you have to walk half a mile to the only restaurant in the neighborhood (partnered with the “hotel “ owner. Only one option on the menu,for 35 Euros.Ripoff."

"This was the greatest find of our France trip. A church in a medieval village originally, converted to a hotel a few years ago. The room was incredible in character, charm, and coziness and very large by typical hotel standards. Breakfast was succulent with local pastries and fruit. The innkeepers are a couple who were a delight and very helpful. I look forward to returning soon. "

"This property was marvelous. It’s a very local home in Marseille with lovely unique features. Mlle Andree is a kind and gracious host. We entirely enjoy meeting locals as we travel and this stay truly met that expectation. Plus, our apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. Mlle Andre brought fresh and homemade pastries to us each evening that we could enjoy as an afternoon snack or as breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend this property. "Petite déception car l’annonce proposé la restauration sur place, mais rien en cette période. Le responsable nous a cependant proposé des adresses en centre ville (2 km). Finalement petite balade à pieds A/R et resto parfait. Cadre et personnel parfait."

"Great place, great staff, pool is wonderful and lovely views. Very relaxing. Only negative is it is on top of a high hill, hence the lovely viewdata. Walking into Bandol no real issue but getting back is a bit of a challenge particularly as taxis are a big problem."
