"Couple of problems , Cash Only ,The owner refused to take a Credit card (I assumed it would be charged through Hotels.com)and only found out afterwards that a couple I just met paid my Bill w/ cash. The price Booked online was $75 per room and they paid $220 .Thats $70 more than quoted ? Thats not all that's shady ,Without my knowledge or approval . "This was a stopover going South and returning two weeks later, so only two nights in total. It is beautifully appointed, the bedrooms (en suite) are amazing and breakfast typically continental (bread, croissants, fruit juice, yoghurt etc) No evening meal available but an excellent restaurant within half a mile (ask madame) Would happily stay there again should the opportunity arise Very useful to have at least a smattering of French as I'm not sure she speaks any English, but, don't let that...

"This hotel took us by suprise.. Room was great on the 6th floor over looking the city.. Very walkable to see the churches or down to river area.. Many food options in-between.. We loved how the windows open for fresh air and ability to take great pictures of the area.. And a decent breakfast to top it all off.. I would definitely visot here again.."
