Staying at the AmericInn was awesome because this sunset happened right in the backyard! We raced through the porcupine mountains to catch the sun dipping under the horizon. At 9:20pm too!

"We only stayed 2 nights, but the location fit our needs as we wanted to explore the Porcupine Mt. State Park. We used the kitchen for a cold breakfast and stored our picnic supplies in the fridge. We did not do any cooking but ir looked like the kitchen was well stocked if one wanted to do so. Great place to stay"

"This stay was everything me and my partner were looking for. We were looking somewhere close to the Porcupine winter sports complex and this put us just down the street! Cute, cozy, comfortable is how I would describe this stay! The town is delightful and so are its people. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking to enjoy the ski slopes. Next time we are going to snowmobile like the town recommends! "
