"We had a wonderful time! The home has lots of beds, the kitchen is very well stocked, and there are plenty of bathrooms. There is a lot to do in Cashiers. We really enjoyed the park, local waterfall walks and the brewery. We went to the Highlands Outpost for tubing and had a blast! We started the private trails but were not able to complete them in the winter due to needing waterproof boots for the river crossing. We wish we could have done this! Our kids really enjoyed the bunk house. A few things to know include the lowest floor does not have indoor steps to the main house in the 2nd level. You must use the outside steps. The kitchen/living in the 2nd floor is smaller than expected but we managed a full Thanksgiving dinner with 15 people. The lighting in the master bathroom is very dim. We had a couple of internet issues but Darin was very responsive to try and correct this. We had a great stay and loved the area. "

"This home was perfectly suited for our family! It is beautiful, comfortable and the kitchen was perfectly stocked…and had a fireplace…love, love, love!!! The very large family room had tables that were perfect for mahjong and for the large puzzle we worked on while there. It also had comfortable seating for a big crowd and another large fireplace. The bedrooms were great and baths were stocked with necessities and more. Upon arrival, the host had left snacks, coffee and drinks in the small bar fridge…an added, unexpected bonus. I haven’t even mentioned the game room, which all of us, adults and kids, absolutely loved! We would love to return to this mountain respite. It was so much more than we were expecting! Host family….Thank you for the wonderful memories made at your wonderful home!!!"

It was unfortunate that the lake was drained & another unit was being worked on nearby (no fault of the host), but Renee was incredibly responsive, attentive, and understanding to any need or concern. Being situated right in downtown Cashiers was incredibly convenient. We were able to walk to the Village, all the quaint local shops, and some fantastic restaurants. Despite the central location, the home felt secluded and peaceful.The 3-bedroom, 3-bath layout was a dream for our group. Having a full private bathroom for each bedroom offered privacy and ease, a rare find in vacation rentals! The entire property was immaculate, clearly well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the high-quality linens made us feel like we were at a five-star hotel.If you are looking for a spacious and perfectly located rental for a group or family in Cashiers, stop looking and book this property.
