"The lodge is more like a hostel in that the bathroom and shower is down the hall from your room. However you have your own private bathroom and shower which are keyed to your room. Be careful not to leave your key in the bathroom or shower since those doors lock without using a key. Overall very clean and comfortable. There are no staff at the desk. It is managed by staff at another motel"

"Look no further! This is where you want to stay in Silverton!! The property is amazing. Our room was so beautiful, cozy, quiet, and very clean. We were informed by one of the local store owners that the Altus Lodge is all new as off the end of 2024. We stayed for multiple nights and loved the area and the people. Overall, it was a great place to stay. We have recommended it to many of our friends who are looking to head out that way. One of Silverton's finest! The price was amazing for what you get! "

"LOVED IT! Perfect for our family of 4 (1 King, 1 Queen & pull-out sofa). Beautiful remodel of a historical building - still had the Old Wild West feel, but modern. Only 3 rooms with an open communal sitting room (no TV, no front desk). Quiet and relaxing with AMAZING views. The one staff member we saw was super nice and helpful with local recommendations. Just can't say enough good things about this place - probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be back!"
