"It's all about location, and this is a prime one! The unit itself was clean and a great size for the two of us. We like to cook on our trips, and the kitchen was a little sparse, but it was fine, and everything else was great. Hosts were very friendly and helpful (as was their dog - friendly, I mean). "The apartment was well stocked with all essentials. We were very comfortable and satisfied with our stay. The area is incredibly beautiful so we enjoyed exploring and returning to a lovely apartment at the end of each day. Our only complaint - if you can call it that - was that it would have been helpful to have instructions in English for us non-German speakers. Getting on WiFi, laundry options and some other small things would have been helpful. The caretaker was very nice to us but language...

"The property is very clean and has everything you need. The location is centrally located, you could travel to Alsace to the the west, Heidelberg to the north, Black Forest to the East and Basel to the south. The owners are very nice and will answer all your questions. We would stay here again."

"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"
