Oceanfront apartment Blue Emerald 6 Blue Bay is a beautiful apartment, located on the 2nd floor with magnificent sea view! Directly on the beach of the Blue Bay Golf and Beach Resort, with several restaurants and a cozy beach bar. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen and living room with air conditioning.

The apartment hast the ideal location to explore Curacao and enjoy all the facilities the resort. Golf, scuba diving, snorkeling, relaxing in the hammock on the beach or in the lounger by the pool(14x8m). The Blue Bay Golf and Beach resort has all possibilities for the well deserved vacation to Curacao.

Oceanfront apartment Blue Emerald 6, in brief:
- 2 bedrooms with air conditioning, a safe, and enough closet space.
- 2 bathrooms with toilet and a separate guest toilet.
- Spacious kitchen, fully equipped
- Living room with TV, air conditioning and sliding doors to the balcony with a amazing view.

- The property features 110 and 220 outlets.
- You can park next to the entrance. Also the shared swimming pool is just a few steps away from the apartment.

You have 0.5 m3 of water and 35 kWh of electricity per day including, this is sufficient for normal use. Any additional costs will be deducted from your deposit.

The apartment is within walking distance of the Blue Bay beach (free access) with the cozy beach bar Blend, a dive shop, where you can also book nice trips and massage/pedicure/manicure services. There are 2 restaurants on the beach. Restaurant Coast and Brass Boer. Where you can dine on the beach with a beautiful sea view.

At the entrance of the beach you will find the restaurant 'the Tides', open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

At the park itself you will find the unique 18-hole golf course (you will receive a 20% discount on the golf rates). In the plantation house you will find the restaurant Lemon Grass which is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You can also take various group lessons at the Blue Bay fit studio and the park has 2 tennis courts (bring your own rackets/balls).

In short, the ideal location for a wonderful stay.

Beach condo blue bay

Beautiful property we felt safe and were treated so well. It was so nice having dive shop and restaurants on the property. We will be back.

Blue Bay resort, Curacao

The beach and Carribean water was absolutely beautiful. The accomodation not so much… it was very dated, furniture throughout very uncomfortable. The only comfortable furniture was out on the deck which is facing West but it was the only condo with no awning soooo couldn’t sit out there til sunset ….would go back to Curacao but would never rent this condo again. It was a very overpriced unit!!

Extra charge request

Curaçao was amazing. The beach and apartment was very good and would recommend this vacation. However, be aware of a possible extra charge cash grab. We were asked to pay extra afterwards for energy and water overages. We don’t believe this was factual. We are 2 older individuals that are quite conservative. We rented a vehicle and were gone most days, ate out almost every day…. Contract says 35 kWh for each day is included and we paid a deposit. They kept the deposit and wanted more after we left. This simply is not possible for what we used while there; in comparison to my electric bill for our 3000 sq/ft home in Canada - this isn’t possible. 2 air conditioners were broken in the main rooms, and from what I’ve read in the reviews.. they have been broken for awhile. To tell you what type of people we are, I broke the coffee pot accidentally in the sink, and went and bought them a new one the next day. Not afraid to spend money - just honestly. We asked for an explanation and was given he brush off. I don’t feel as if we were being dealt with in good faith. But, I could be wrong. If the air conditioners were defective, they could have been draining power even if not working. I did speak to the repairman that was sent to confirm it was broken and that the other was broken for some time. If you rent this apartment, you will have a great time and it is what they say it is - just get the readings before and after and I would suggest having everything signed off before you go.

Fabulous place that met all expectations. The rental was distinguished by the superb servicies of the rental manager and her staff...responding to questions, giving instructions and providing extra services such as arranging rental car.

Shower master bathroom lets the property down!

We recently stayed in one of the Blue Emerald apartments on the Blue Bay Resort in Curacao. A spacious apartment with wonderful sea views. A couple of things that we think can/need to be improved: 1. Once a week housekeeping simply is not enough. 2. The shower in the master bathroom is extremely dirty, especially mould both on the wall tiles and on the floor tiles. We know it is an expense, but we think that replacing the shower and fresh tiling will make a heck of a difference. 3. Grouting of the floor tiles in general is not good anymore; it is disintegrating and that means that the dirty water will remain in the grouts. No really easy solutions for those problems! Swimming pool is beautiful, though quite small. Would we return? Probably yes.

Spectacular Location

We stayed in this same building about 5 months ago in a 3 bedroom so we have something to compare this 2 bedroom to. Reservations were easy and it was easy and quick to communicate with the owner. As expected the location is spectacular. The layout, flooring, most furniture and bathrooms were almost identical to the 3 bedroom. This unit simply was not up to the high standards of the prior unit. The prior unit was very well furnished, it had pictures on the walls, flowers in the unit, plug adapters at every outlet, tons of kitchen utensils and pots/pans. It was very close to staying in a 5 star property. This 2 bedroom, aside from the spectacular location and views from the balcony, was a letdown. One of the 2 airconditioners in the kitchen/dining/living space did not work. There was the bare minimum of kitchen items. I contacted the owner to raise the concern about missing all wash cloths and hand towels and to her credit they were brought in the next day. Almost all of the light fixtures seemed dark and when I brought this to the attention of the staff member from a Blue Bay who came by to check us in she blamed the owner for only having 1 bulb in each fixture to save electricity. This same person told me, when I raised the issue, the balcony should have had 2 lounge chairs but they broke a few days prior and when they notified the owner the owner said she would take care of it next month when she visits. I sent a message to the owner about the missing lounge chairs and within a day they were replaced, although with less expensive plastic loungers without any cushions. Not sure if the on site manager or the owner is not being truthful. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The hair dryer has a US style 110 volt plug but there were no adapters provided in the unit. We told the on site manager about a lot of tiny ants in the kitchen and she did immediately send someone by with some ant killer. I asked about paper towels to wipe away the ants and she told me that I would have to purchase this. The washer and the dish washer each had 1 pod each. There were no beach toys. Again, the owner was very helpful. It this unit was really bare bones (the bedding was hard as a rock and not of high quality). The prior had everything you could want. For only a few hundred dollars this owner of the w bedroom can elevate her standards. I think a lot has to do with the on-site manager. This owner appears to use the Blue Bay staff.

Our holiday

Very nice location. Apartment clean, balcony could do with a little work. Broken sunbathing chair, floor made feet black. One of the ACs in living room did not work. Property managers had been aware, but we were not notified. Waiting for approval of board to change ac.

By the Sea

Blue Bay resort is terrific for beach, swimming, snorkeling, and diving. The restaurants proved to be of consistently high quality both with ingredients and preparation. The wait staff was attentive to individual requests. The location of the apartment could not have been better, next to the beach, the restaurants, and the pool. The apartment itself was good. I would suggest some kitchen additions: microwave, blender, cooking utensils, juicer, measuring spoons, barware, and additional skillets and sauce pans. These additions would permit more at home cooking with the fresh fruits,vegetables, and fish found at the grocery store. We truly enjoyed ourselves. .

Ubicación y servicios, la mejor playa de la isla

Hermoso departamento, invaluables vistas del atardecer sobre el océano desde el balcón. Tiene todo lo necesario para preparar comidas allí, modernos electrodomesticos, con lavavajillas, lavarropas y secarropas. Ubicado sobre la playa de Blue Bay Beach, con bar, con noches de musica en vivo y barbacoa en la playa, con restaurante sobre la arena, y a dos minutos de un gran supermercado "Centrum" (en auto) También la playa tiene posibilidad de actividades como buceo, kayak o paddleboard . Sin dejar de mencionar el hermoso punto de snorkel al lado del muelle. Este departamento tiene todo para pasar vacaciones perfectas, y quienes lo administran son personas sumamente amables, siempre atentas a cualquier consulta acerca de la propiedad o de la isla. Great Location and Beautiful Condo

We loved the location! Blue Bay is very nice, clean, and secure. We walked throughout the community several times. The beach/bay is perfect. A lot of aquatic life to see right on site. The condo was very clean and well kept. We experienced a couple of minor issues at check-in but the property management took care of them within 24 hours. We would request to book this again.

amazing location

overall, we were very please with our stay at Blue Bay in this property. The location is probably the best you're going to get on the island. Steps away from the beach and a pool. The condo itself was very nice. We did have issues with mosquitos after the 3rd night due to standing and stagnant water on the golf cart road which happened to by right outside our balcony. Also, everyone is different in their preference but keep in mind that the mattress in the master bedroom was EXTREMELY hard so plan accordingly. the amenities were amazing. we would have liked a couple more pots/pans and maybe a sheet pan for baking various meals. overall the stay was amazing and if we decide to vacation again in Curacao, I think we would definitely stay at Blue Bay again
