"I was surprised to see that it was a shared kitchen with one other guest. The bed wasn't comfortable, old mattresses. The place was clean, not quiet due to children playing all day outside. The owner also texted me that I had to check in by 19:30 which made it very difficult, but he eventually agreed to meet me at 20:00. Also, the owner insisted on taking a picture of my passport. This I found to be odd and suspect. Be careful."

"The room was clean, the view is great from the little balcony. Extremely spacious, located 3 min walking from restaurants. The Como Lago train m station is 1 min walking. The A/C worked perfectly. "The hotel is right on the lake and our room had a lake front balcony that provided stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The pool is a great amenity. The room was spacious and cheery. The staff that greets you is excellent. A shout out to Captain Roberto, who provides private lake tours by boat. My only negative is the restaurant. The dinner menu is very limited and the staff, while well meaning, was incompetent. Of 4 meals we had there, something went wrong with 3 of them, including sending back a steak that was ordered medium rare and was delivered well over done. It was replaced by a steak that was merely seared and uncooked. I should have sent that back as well. In other words, avoid the restaurant."
