"The staff there are such amazing people! However, this property is in need of some major renovations, with issues such as clogged shower drainage, the shower head falling off the holder on its own, clogged sinks, and many others. I can overlook all the various issues in the suite regarding condition and cleanliness but the bathroom plumbing issues made it difficult to stay there. The location is amazing. Would have liked to come back and change my review if they renovate."

"Do not book this unit.This VRBO listing was completely misrepresented online. When we arrived, the property was absolutely disgusting and in no condition to host guests. The entire unit was filthy—there were hairs on the bed sheets, the furniture was dirty and had burn marks, and the kitchen cabinets were broken. To make matters worse, one of the toilets was just a hole in the ground—essentially a longdrop. Another toilet was leaking.We contacted the host immediately. He was apologetic and said...

"This was one of the best stays we’ve had in Istanbul. Never having stayed in Taksim Sq and with a car, we appreciated the valet parking and relatively very easy access off the highway. The location is great to be able to walk and take public transport to most of the great sights. We were upgraded to a large suite and everything from the bedroom, walking closet and large bathroom were superb. The welcome note, fast check in, and snacks in room, with discrete and efficient service were wonderful. Staff were uniformly friendly especially our the guest attendant who took us to our room, welcomed us to the city and showed us the room. It was really a nice welcome in a city and country where hospitality is already very strong. Superb breakfast buffet and service. Finally, the view from the hotel over the city and Bosporus was wonderful. Watch the narrow lanes around the hotel if you’re driving, many dead ends, one ways. Not easy or practical for self parking."
