Clean, Modern, Lake Keowee Retreat Near Clemson

Picturesque lakeside retreat with direct access to beautiful Lake Keowee. Private entrance to this 1400 sq. foot guest suite attached to main house. You’ll have the entire guest suite to yourself. Large great room incorporates a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family. Enjoy the lakefront firepit in the evenings and take the kayaks out for daytime fun on the water. Great getaway to relax, swim, kayak, jump on the water trampoline, go fishing or attend a Clemson game.

The Space
Kitchen is fully equipped with full size stove, refrigerator and microwave and even has a dishwasher. Drip coffee pot and coffee are provided. Suite also has a washer and dryer. 1 Full bathroom plus an outdoor shower with hot water. Sleeps 6. Spacious main bedroom has a king size bed. Access to the large “bunk room” is via the master bedroom. Bunk room has 4 XL twin beds “built in”.
House is lake front with easy access to the lake. No steep hills or long staircases to climb to get to and from the water (with the exception of 1 flight of stairs to enter the guest suite).
Property has a full dock which may be available if you bring or rent a boat. Please contact host in advance to discuss.
Use of kayak and adult life jackets, lake noodles and beach towels all included. **Please bring life jackets for your children if you plan to use the kayaks.**
Gas grill and patio with seating for your private use.

Guest Access
Entrance to suite is up 1 flight of stairs. Guests have direct, easy access to the lake. 16 miles from Clemson. 10 minute drive to the local ice cream shop, Scoops in Six Mile.
Important note: To enter the bunk room, you need to walk through the main bedroom. There is a door between the two for privacy, but there is no separate access to the bunk room.
Please: No smoking. No pets. No events.

Other Things to Note
There are security cameras outside the house facing away from the house. There are no cameras inside the house,
Wifi is available, but bandwidth is limited. Streaming not recommended. We have lots of board games and puzzles in case of rain.

Loved being so close to the lake

We wanted to stay close to The Cliffs, and this location was great! We loved the amenities offered. There were plenty of blankets and towels. We loved that the bunk room had no windows so we could sleep in without the sun coming through in the morning.

What a beautiful property on a wonderful lake. The hosts were very accommodating to our late arrival and continued to provide support through our stay. Had exactly what we needed and highly recommend to anybody with a family or on their own as a couple.

Golf getaway on the lake

Great location with plenty to do or just relax. We golfed, played on the lake and hiked. Shari is terrific to work with. Second annual here and we’ll be back for a third.

Fantastic weekend

We had a fantastic long weekend to celebrate a birthday. The house was well stocked, beds were comfy and location couldn’t have been better. The owners even pointed out a nesting pair of bald eagles directly across the cove. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location, great hosts.

This is a beautiful in-law apartment connected to a palace of a lake house. From a fire pit to kayaks, to a private beac front, this place will not disappoint. Modern, comfortable, with every detail considered. We will stay again next year.

Great spot on the lake

All around a great place to stay on lake Keowee. Property was well designed and fit our family of 4 nicely. Owners set up a great experience, from a clean and well designed unit, to a clear guidebook with instructions on how to operate everything, to access to kayaks and the fire pit. Very responsive communication. Location is right on the water. Would definitely rent again.

Guest House

We needed a getaway and the lake guest house was perfect for us! The accommodations were beautiful and all the beds were cozy and slept great. The custom tile in the kitchen and bathroom were so pretty and it was super clean! We had a relaxing time sitting by the fire pit with plenty of wood and the next day enjoyed swimming off the dock in the clear water of Lake Keowee. Shari was easy to communicate with and was so kind. Definitely recommend!

Perfect get away on the lake.

This was our 3rd(I think) stay here! It was amazing as always. Owners very visible/available by email, text and about on the property. Response time if any questions almost immediate. Well equipped kitchen, rental has its own gas grill, large enough refrigerator/freezer to hold our entire weeks groceries. We love the kayaks, fire pit and beautiful sunsets, we will definitely rent again!

Lakeside oasis

We had a short weekend trip, but it was well worth it. The place had every amenity you could need. Ample extra towels and blankets, and a kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, baking/cooking pans, etc. We loved kayaking and just spending time by the lake! Very clean. Easy communication. We had ample privacy, but knew our hosts were available if needed. 10/10 would recommend.

Our "Get-a-way" cottage

Our grandson's wedding was in a huge house a 3 minute drive from this cottage. We loved being able to have peace & quiet from the wedding celebrations any time we wanted to. Loved the location & the comfortable space. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. All our grandchildren came over to ooh & aah over the house. They said it was adorable! Lakehouse

Shari & Andrew have thought of everything, for their guests. The space is airy, with plenty of widows and high ceilings. Meals were a pleasure, with the well stocked kitchen and large dining table. Furniture is comfortable and clean. The entire place, in fact, is spotless. Some of our family members live with allergies and asthma, and staying at a place this clean is appreciated. There’s lots to do outdoors, from the lake to local trails. The kids had a great time kayaking & swimming. Be sure to check out Raven Rock at Keowee Toxaway State Park! Even on rainy days, we had fun visiting Seneca’s charming downtown area. Shari & Andrew’s place is highly recommended.
