"The location was amazing, the property was very clean, and the communication process was very easy. We loved the view from our window, and having a little balcony was such a treat! The woman who helped us get checked in was so nice and answered all of our questions. "The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful . The breakfast and lunch was good, The sun beds were very comfortable, 20€ for 2 beds plus 1 umbrella. Unless you were in the front row when it was 25€. As there was 3 of us no option but to pay for 4 beds ! Hotel situated in an ideal spot, bus stop 5, with an easy was into town on the lower road, Supermarket across the road. I booked a sea view suite which I believed was in the new block but it wasn’t it was in the hotel which was fine but the room was tired and needed some TLC, so if booking a suite double check which building. All in all lovely week at Nimfi, would I return, yes"

"Excellent stay. The place is beautiful and very convenient location. The room was very nice and the ac worked great. What really shined was the staff. Breakfast buffet was great with a variety of savory and sweet choices. Some of the best treatment we've had in all of our stays throughout Europe. Really top tier!"

"We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. The main bus stop for the town is right outside too which was great. The staff are fantastic! Evi at reception was extremely helpful, booking our Lalaria boat trip and a restaurant for us during our stay. They were also able to recommend a sheltered beach for us to visit on a windier day which we had a lovely time at, and there is always a member of staff to greet you at the entrance. The hotel and room itself was always clean and our balcony had a view of the sea which was great! The buffet breakfast was superb with a huge choice of food and is located upstairs so has an amazing view out to sea while you eat. The bar area downstairs was also lovely and had a great choice of cocktails. Although we didn’t use the pool much due to being so busy in our short stay, it seemed very nice with lots of sun loungers and chairs around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay - I would definitely stay at Alkyon Hotel again and recommend to friends!"

"Martha the owner is amazing - nothing is too much trouble. She offers transport too and from the airport, welcomes you with a complimentary glass of wine on her roof terrace which has fabulous views over Skiathos town. Works very hard to make your stay comfortable. Happily mskes you a hot drink. Bedrooms very clean."
