"Motel advertises "renovated rooms" but those renovations must have happened decades ago. My room had holes in the wallboard, torn-up flooring and beat up furniture. Cleanliness was not great; the mini-fridge was foul-smelling and filthy inside and out and there were big clusters of dust where I had to plug in lamps and such.
In the bathroom, the shower didn't have a soap tray of any sort; had to rest the soap and shampoo bottles on the shower floor. There was no housekeeping service at all; staff never provided new towels over a three night stay.
The owner and his family had their own "outdoor BBQ party" on the premises one night; so unprofessional, made me feel very awkward."
