Beautiful and cozy! It was such a pretty, peaceful and quiet setting. Perfect amount of room for 2 with everything we needed. Hosts were amazing and helpful. Highly recommended!! Perfect getaway for a vacation
Very cute and clean “tiny house”. Super cozy and fun. The beautiful covered porch is a fun bonus. So peaceful and serene. We look forward to staying again.
The Ironwood Cabin was the perfect place for unwinding on our roadtrip. We loved the amenities and comfort that staying here provided vs staying in a motel. Getting to hear the birds singing in the trees around the cabin was so peaceful and refreshing. Morgan was a fantastic host and was very helpful. After finding this gem, we hope to come back.
The surroundings and cabin were very impressive when we arrived. Easy instructions for entry. Spacious parking for our truck and trailer. Everything spotless, modern, and perfect for our stay. Beautiful area, we will definitely be back! Thank you!
Serenity and Beautifully done! Simplicity and location to other things to do. But one could easily just stay in the little spot in the forest In short we enjoyed our stay in the cabin
We loved all the little touches that made this cabin a perfect birthday retreat. We spent hours listening to the vinyl record collection, walked a fair chunk of the nearby Trans Canada Trail, and spent evenings stretched out on the huge deck.
The immaculate kitchen had all cooking appliances and ammenities that you could need. The bed was plush and temperature easy to control throughout. The water is safe to drink but being tank water has a strong mineral smell so might be good to bring extra bottled water if you're more sensitive to that kind of thing.
Our host, Morgan, was very responsive and left us a lovely handwritten welcome note along with a bottle of wine for my husbands birthday.
Would absolutely stay here again.
We've stayed in hotels, European flats, log houses, VRBOs, and more in 49 of the 50 United States and in other countries—“Ironwood Cabin” will go down as one of our best finds for peace, quiet, serenity, and comfort.
The owner of this jewel was meticulous in their attention to detail. It is considered a “tiny house”….you know, just like what is featured on HGTV, and we’re so glad to have now not only seen inside one but also stayed quite comfortably in one. If you haven’t done the same yet—book THIS place!
The area offers such natural beauty for exploring. The river, the surrounding lakes, the fresh air, and the green spaces lend to a positive experience.
Now that we’ve stayed for some time in the summer—it’s the fall color and a visit with snow that has us already wanting to return.
Oh, there is a stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator—as you can see in the photos. These offerings were great for preparing breakfast and dinner.
This stay will be a cherished memory on our 40th anniversary trip of 40 days of travel.
We don’t know the owner, and we’re not advertising for any other reason except for the purpose of sharing a great experience at Ironwood Cabin. We believe that couples of any age group would be proud to book and spend time at this cabin and in this area.
