"This is a very pleasant hotel, ideally situated for those arriving in Skipton by train. It's virtually the first thing you see when leaving the station. It's a ten minute stroll into the town centre, past a former cotton mill, and there's an alternative route via the attractive canal towpath, easily accessible from the rear of the hotel. My room was a single, very comfortable with an en suite shower, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the canal. Breakfast was good and all staff were pleasant and attentive.I didn't use the restaurant but I'm sure that's a good option if you don't want to walk into town in the evening. "

"We would not have been able to access the property if it weren’t for the help of other guests. The owners failed to tell us the entrance code. In addition there was no prior warning that the en suite was outside our room (room 6)."

"Hard to find, post code didn't help. Had to phone Paula who said not to use postcode and put in full named address which worked fine. Maybe add this to the description. Room was lovely, great breakfast and Paula was genuinely friendly. "
