"Friendly staff and amenities were nice"

"Due to the nature of my job, I travel abroad for business every week, and I think this hotel would be in my top ten worst hostels I have ever stayed at. The condition of the hotel itself wasn't bad, but some of the staff (at reception) were completely unprofessional. Their reaction was essentially, "Refunds aren't available according to policy, so what are you supposed to do about it?" Furthermore, when I requested a room upgrade (paying extra), they demanded double the cost of rebooking the room. Their attitude is incomprehensible."

I was left wondering how the kitchen would remember my specific order and table number, especially after the delay. I eventually had to ask my server for clarification"
