"I booked this accommodation for my Dad to stay in for one night while visiting me. He told me that his only criticism was that there was no handle to hold on to in the bath/shower and the lighting in the room wasn't great. There was limited parking, so Dad had to leave his car at my home and I dropped him off and picked him up in the morning."

"The Holiday inn, Brayford along the canal, wasn’t far to walk the steep inclement to the cathedral, castle or to little shops. Lincoln is a beautiful place to visit, full of historical and character buildings, mixed with new. The people are very nice and helpful here."

"Seeing the refurbishment start around three years ago and the planned graphics we wanted to try this on return visits to the city. The finished article when we stayed last week exceeded our expectations - Brilliant. Tastefully decorated and furnished in all areas Rooms - the house keeping very good. Staff Friendly , professional and always helpful going above and beyond with their good service. Breakfast?........Make sure your hungry for the full English but if not so there is a comprehensive selection of Pastries ,Cereals and Toast complimented with fruits spreads and juices etc. Parking is available in a dedicated customer facility just a short walk from the main building. In busy times of the seasons it would be advisable to book at the time of reserving your room. Overall the White Hart is excellent value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable experience in the most perfect location being less than a five minute stroll from the Cathedral , Castle and Steep hill. Do we plan to return...........Most definately."

"Lovely place, we had a lake view room and it was beautiful, room 513. From our balcony we could see a colony of young housemartins, who were nesting under the eves, flying around and back to their nests, just lovely. My husband has problems walking, we called reception to ask if the buggy could pick him up and it was there within minutes. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant was a bit limited, but we found something we liked. Breakfast had plenty of choice, however for me, the eggs were overdone and the bacon was streaky. Overall, a lovely weekend and a beautiful place to stay."

"Although the hotel is a little 'tired', the facilities with the pool and jacuzzi etc are a welcome treat, and I have no hesitation to come back again. The staff are very helpful and they accommodated my request for a ground floor room, which I appreciated. My superior room was very dated decor wise, and smaller than the last one I had at this hotel, but the bed was comfy and the corner whirlpool bath was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was OK, a reasonable choice, but they have stopped offering fruit, or bagels, or philadelphia pots .. which used to be my 'go to' choice. Lunch and evening meals offer good sized portions and are very nice (if a little expensive). Overall a great stay, whilst the pool is there I will be back."
