"The Helaina is a very high standard of bed and breakfast property. We stayed in a Premium Double room on the top floor. The room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom/shower. This room is reached by 6 flights of stairs of varying lengths (it is on the 3rd floor), so not for the infirm or those with heavy luggage. "We loved it here, room had a gorgeous view and the family room wa spacious. Bunk bed was a bit creakky (but our kids were probably too big for them really.) Fab locations for the northbay side where there is lots to do. Breakfast was AMAZING! "

"2 night stay in a single room. I arrived well before check in time so the room was not ready. I needed to change clothes and freshen up and the hostess really went out of her way to facilitate this. It was therefore a great check in. The room was perfect size with an ensuite shower and toilet. The shower was very good. Hot and powerful. Its so disappointing to have a bad shower, so full marks!! "We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon in our 1936 Riley. All the parking spaces were occupied. The landlord moved his own car further away so we could park our car so it could be seen from our room. The breakfasts were good. An altogether comfortable stay."
