"Others have pointed this out already and it is true. The rooms are nicely renovated. The exterior could use some work. The owners are putting in a serious effort to bring it up to speed. Further, they are kind and considerate people.
One ask, do a stranger a favor and feed the local cat. Or if you can bring him to Animal Services at 1441 Harriet Street, that would be even better. He can get his shots, be nuetered and adopted.
The poor guy was screaming outside my room during a rain storm. I forgot my card in my room when I went out to help him. So I spent a few hours in the stairwell keeping him company.
When I was able to get the keys to my car from my room and find the drop of (cats don't always do great in cars outside a carrier) I was unable to find him when I returned. Hopefully someone is caring for him in the nearby neighborhood.
But if you see him and are able please bring him to the shelter on Harriet street.Winters in Des Moines are cold. He is very friendly and would make a great pet for a lucky family.
Thank you,
Ryan from Rhode Island"

"Our group of 16 had a great stay at this spacious home. The comfortable bedrooms were easily shared, and though the house was warm during the day, it was comfortable at night. The kitchen was adequately equipped, but could benefit from additional basic items like pots, pans, and measuring cups."
"Very very nice. Awesome Lady in front Desk Caucasian 7/26/25 checked out 11:30am, she was awesome! Sorry I didn’t get her name. Very professional and friendly, she deserves a raise!!! Thank you"
