"We had a short break at Stoke Park and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a very special place and the grounds are fantastic. A highlight was the swimming pool which was very warm, we'll maintained and beautiful with lots of natural light and a big fish tank at the back. "The staff were welcoming and friendly. Loads of parking spaces. Grounds well maintained and pretty. Bedroom was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Food served in the bar was tasty and portions were good but highly priced for the standard. Wine is very expensive! Breakfast options good and fast service. The hotel does need updating. The central heating was permanently on and no thermostat on the bathroom radiator so it was unbearably hot. Same issue experienced in other guest rooms...

"The owners were very hospitable, breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. Private bathroom , yeah! We took the local bus from Heathrow airport Terminal 5 and only had to walk a couple of blocks to the London Heathrow Guesthouse. In the evening our hosts recommended walking to the Perserverence (Percy) the local pub. The fish and chips were delicious (large portion)..Great stay."
